Actually I have not joined one game with low ranks, or invited low ranks, that is not my style. I just put up the games and let anyone join. Let's not go there Scott.

He is now a cook who joined a clutch of games against me...after receiving a series of beatings he PM'd me asking if he could join rather than fight against me...I naturally said yes.

Of course! After all, I have never made any secret of the symbiotic relationship between low points holders/ranks and high if they can sort out the rules of engagement.

I just call it as I see 'em.... I was expecting a reply along the lines of teaching those less unfortunate as an excuse- more believable than putting up 20x games at a time where an unsuspecting cook(s) joins. I'm sure it was just good fortune that they join all of them.

More power to you- I have no problem with it. Just spare us the lectures.....

A bit like the player LordWOLF who joined 32 games I suppose. I am unsure what it is you are trying to say. I see your words and I see your saying that you 'call it as you see 'em, like some decent 'sleeves rolled up' guy, but somehow I doubt the veracity of what you say. Please be more honest. I know you have had difficulties with this in the past, but those days are behind you now, you need not fear any more. Bruce is a nice guy and he has shown himself always to be so. Do not worry that others still see you as a cheat who manipulates games and makes others throw them just so you could manage to win, I never have believed this of you. So go on scott, offload whatever it is that's bothering that head of yours because something obviously is.

Not attacking you scott, just asking a question. Why are you so defensive? I have responded to your remark regarding hypocrisy earlier. You then continued with your comment, I then responded again by showing that some join even more games than your example. I then just pointed out with an example, in much the same vein as you had done, that those in glass houses perhaps should think before they start throwing their stones about the place.

I don't see Rabbiton mentioned either..Are we talking the top sequential player that plays private games or public games? There is a slight difference in these two I believe. While you will gain the most in private and lose the least it is the opposite in public you win the least and lose the most.I am a tad confused.

I just got the figure by map ranking the score of any sequential game. That includes singles, doubles, teams, private, public etc. The software shows the net points gained.

Well to use any team stats would be grossly un-fair as they are usually easy wins against any random team, bar playing on extremely small maps they are easily an 85%+ in most cases. Then consider the fact most high ranks dont create random pick up team games, rather they get their buddies and destroy (like stated above 85% or better).I would use game finder and map rank players standard seq games.IMO might be a bit more accurate.

To bring this back to being all about me, I've played 25 freestyle games out of 2925 completed games. Almost all of those were when I first came to CC in 2006. I played two in 2007, it appears.

Me me me. :)

I hardly think excluding team games is very fair. If I by some miracle get near the top (not that I think that has any chance of happening), I'd then be excluded from the list of players who play sequential? I play nothing but sequential, but I also almost only play team games, mostly quads and trips. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's not like we only play newbies either, we play other good teams.

lol 3 pages of talk.......prank, using team stats isn't unfair, look at the original post....it's merely about sequential vs freestyle, not about who's the best 5-8 player esc standard sequential....

unless pedro intended it to be about that and just forgot to tell us......

oh and just so you know: team games aren't "usually easy wins." the last round of public dubs games that i set up, we opposed or are still opposing:

merz
evex
JR
gunniboy
peanutsdad
redfelt
hiitsmestevie1
sbg68
andreslh

so, not exactly a cakewalk for points there. and you've also completely ignored tourney games

sheesh, i know this is pissing in the wind, but at what point will people stop bitching about who's better? does no one realize that we sound like a bunch of insecure middle schoolers? you're either good or you're not, you either have the respect of your peers or not......that's it, nothing more

ps: jr's not good but i put him on the list anyway ;)

pps: jr beat me in the latest 2 dubs, but i don't give a f*ck, that was luck ;)

If so...I have bad news for you Lt.pie....and velvecarrots isn't too hot either.

Fruitcake,
im not saying that velve has the highest seq points and me the second most.

I just answered the question who is the highest positioned player that plays primarily seq.
I don't believe points obtained was mentioned within the question at all.
I am -3409 on std seq lol but im still the second highest on the scoreboard primarily playing seq.

love pie O:)

btw you can vote for me as the most overrated player on CC in flamewars :ugeek:

Your missing my point here.Take for instance my quad games,I am a 90% playing public casual seq with random partners. My point being it does not take a great player to win at casual quads or triples, doubles a bit more skill is involved but on any random game you stand to win around 85% or better. Now to include people as being the best seq or highest scoring due to team games would be a bit ludicrous IMO.....PC out

what seperates comic boy from a lot of the rest you all have on here is simply this, he is absolutely incredible in singles 6 to 8 players, over the years, the 2 best are probably comic boy and maniacmath17, but then, what seperates these 2, is comic boy is excellent at team games as well. Realize, i did not say good or even great, i said incredible and excellent, so, if you are looking for the best or one of the very best sequential players in cc history, well rounded, my vote has to go to comic boy, maybe not in the diversity of maps, but that is not his cup of tea, but you take a basic map with proper setting, comic will win a vast majority over most, i guarentee it, i have seen it, he simply is da bomb, way to go comic boy, glad to see you back matey, now lets get some games going. :D

you want strictly team play on the most diverse complicated maps with all settings, sequential players, any and all maps: every setting, I would have to go with many in thota: bw, dbz, neph, dw, osu, neo, rl, etc, a lot of them are solid, all in thota are very challenging to beat, and so many others outside of thota are good and i dont care what the stats say, they have played a ton against the very best in clan challenges, tourneys, private games, etc and have excelled on every setting. plus the stats do not due fair justice when a handful of players have been over 1000 score higher than 90% of the site for months and months, so even if they won 80%, there score is going to drop big time which makes the stats inaccurate, so, not necessarily a true reflection of skill always, but they all play singles too and are very solid, and any thinking they are not, put up a challenge of 60 games or 100 games and see who wins the majority, more games the better to cancel out lucky drops or dice.

so, when you are discussing sequential, specify teams or singles, and then specify singles 3 to 5 players or 6 to 8, cause 6 to 8 is more skillful, and inn teams, discuss if it is basic maps with one or 2 settings, or all maps with all settings, cause the latter is more skillful as well, and there is not many in the latter on cc. hopefully that helps to filter some of this, just my 2 pennies.
