spring is from cold country, so maybe it is permafrostbite or something .. that is the only thing I could think of ... on the brighter side, I am glad I didn't notice in the first place.

in chevys defense, last to join and first to go has been detremintal to me as well (i usually play seq, though). its not a big deal and definitely not enough to start a thread about. but, it has happened enough in that situation for me to notice. on the flip side, i know it is not some stupid conspiracy and am not going to let it stop me from playing a game i love. i guess what im trying to say, chevy, is buck up, quit bitchin, and enjoy this great site that lack has so graciously provided us..........

first to play has its disadvantages... definitely. Because there are no spaces on the board that have less than 3 armies on them. Usually, after several people have taken turns and fortified, there are several territories with 1 or 2 armies ripe for attack. Last to join doesn't seem to make any difference to me.
When the dice turn against me, I just wait till the next round.
