Re: Still Alive
The Sleep Apnea would cause the high carbon dioxide, I think.
Hope you get better and I hope your able to keep on keeping on.
edit: look on the bright side; the high red blood cell count means you don't have Lymphoma!
second edit: There are a few types of illegal drugs that will raise your red blood cell count and give you memory loss, but i trust you are better than that.

Coleman...
Good to hear from you, even if the circumstances are not as good as you, or we, might wish.
Congratulations on the engagement, and best of luck in all things medical.

89.97$ for a piece of rubber and some fabric?
If it weren't for the nighttime use that would be daylight robbery.

Re: Still Alive
That strap thing seems kind of dangerous. My problem is I won't really wake up before suffocating to death (although I still find that hard to believe, but that's what they say). If I wore that to keep my mouth shut and my nose got really stuffy I'd probably die.
I am currently taking Advanced Topics in C (for the 4th time...), Operating Systems, Technical Writing (for the 2nd time), Computer Organization and Architecture (for the 2nd time), and Security Administration (which is a class about being a sys admin for a bunch of windows computers, I already took the linux version).

Re: Still Alive
I keep thinking of trying Linux on at least one computer but I guess I'm too lazy.
Have they suggested one of those positive air pressure machines with the hose and mask? I don't know if your health insurance would cover it. They are $600 in Canada and you need to have some kind of supplemental insurance or it's your own cost. If your apnia is really bad it could be well worth it. I know two people that it basically changed their lives.

Re: Still Alive
2dimes: My sleep apnea is being treated with one of those machines 2dimes. My insurance thankfully covers all of it.
Without that machine we would not be talking right now because I would be on disability/welfare and barely living.
Everyone: My obsessive personality is back in full swing. I'm now in too many games at once, my time damaged rank is repaired somewhat, and I'm back to my old tricks of taking way to much of an interest in the map foundry again.
I know Wicked might never come back, but I hope she too is doing well. I still regret our huge misunderstanding that was blown out of proportion due to both our health situations, if either of us had been less irritable we might have become friends. An irrational part of me feels somewhat responsible for her exit even though it was the conflict with Twill and the discovery about her health that did it. I hope one day she makes a partial return, even if it was like how my return initially was, with a post just letting us know she's still alive.
EDIT: I missed the storm but apparently she did make a return and received a perma-site ban. I did not intend to stir up any drama with those comments as I am sure she had many supporters who still disagree over what the final action was. I don't want to delete my sentiment though. If Wicked is somehow reading this please don't reveal your multi or contact, I didn't mean to cause trouble.
