I agreed with this post originally, but then some people took it out of context and posted pictures that have made me too nauseous to achieve erection. Now I would like people to refrain from posting the pictures that Sentinel wanted until the next page, that way I can enjoy them without having my eyeballs damaged any further.

It could be a slug gun, maybe intended to fire those fancy new fangled sabots. This would also explain the thinkness of the barrel. The rifling appears to be straight as well so it wouldn't have quite the adverse effect that spiraled rifling would have on shot.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what straight rifling would do to shot?
