Are you counting vacation to?

Conquer 4 - 570 days
101 Poker Club - 442 days

I dont think that someon is working so long without vacations.
You can also add how many days maps spend of FF to,these will be very interesting informations ;)

Poker club was never on vacation - it was simply not possible until recently!!!

The times I've posted do include any vacation time.... a couple of maps have two development threads; where this formed part of the first post, I took the time of the first one - this explains the long times for Draknor and Conquer 4.

On another note, the typical (median) map development time for all maps is 104 days (mean=140 days).
The last fifty maps took longer to develop, typically 149 days (mean=196 days).

The shortest development of recent times was Age of Realms: Magic, with a development time of only 15 days.

Hope you guys don't mind me posting in your thread, but this is amazing. This is really cool for someone who is sort of new, and really fascinating.

I am still re-reading it and finding out all this new stuff, it is really surprising to see which maps are so new, and which are so old.

I think it is especially interesting to see that some maps have piles and piles of strats, and one would think they are old, but they are newer, and vice versa.

Really great information =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I'm still astounded that happened... it's the outlier at the far end of the bell graph. I would imagine that malta holds down the other end. :D

EDIT: huh, having checked benn's post I see I am incorrect. Never would've guessed that conquer 4 took the longest (tho it did go on a long holiday as I recall)

Yeah C4 started creation a long time ago - when I was fairly new!!

I'm glad that it finally made it into production.

There is a tournament going on and there is a link to this topic to show when the maps came out. I think they may have gotten confused and posted in this topic instead of that tournament topic #-o
