I will back this. But I actually got to major for maybe like 30 minutes without it out of sheer luck though. But most high ranks use this stuff. You just have to know where to get it.
You musta done well, I had no hope getting there, stuck at sergeant for a year or so... sigh then I discovered Conquerhack and now i'm skilled

I don't know why people haven't used the new software available. It only costs another $25. (Captains and higher ranks only though.)
I used it to check it works and as can be seen from the game log, it works perfectly!
