i voted for the forbidden city, because i think that would have some sweet gameplay

and i also voted for other. It's not that i'm not a fan of the WW2 maps, but i feel like there are so many of those. i'd like to see something new and abstract, like a circus?

I voted for the two WWII ones (Stalingrad, Midway), and the Forbidden City. If you add in some cool chokepoint rules to the latter, it'll be a very interesting map.

I think all three sound potentially fun. But we need more WWI maps! Honestly, that war is totally neglected on CC!

I'm aware, hence my noting that if you don't create chokepoints on that map you're not doing the area a favor.

Yeh....i never bought into that one for re-development.....sorry.

And I'd appreciate it if you didn't hijack this thread. Otherwise i welcome your comment about a next map from the voting choice.

I voted trafalgar, stalingrad, and other... as far as the other, I think the battle of sekigahara (wikipedia link for those unfamiliar) could offer some amazing graphics and interesting gameplay (especially the concept of units "betraying" one side or the other, which could be integrated into the bonus structure). The battle of hastings would also offer both first-rate graphic potential and quality gameplay.

Thanks Ruben....Lower Egypt is already in the Main Foundry working it's way through to quench.

Upper Egypt is in the New Ideas awaiting further support....

both are simple classic style maps with no more than 27 terts on each....no fancy tricks...

sydney metro is also simple classic style play no tricks.

your support/comments will help push them through this process.

and of course there is always cairns coral coast....that's a simple geographic map classic style play that anyone can hop into.
