Maybe someone could craft a user script that would calculate this?
LMR
ADD DEADBEAT PERCENTAGE TO POSITIVE-NEGATIVE PLAYER NUMBERS

So, for example, a score of 75-3-5 would mean the player has 75 Positives, 3 Negatives, and in 5% of their games they were a DEADBEAT

I think this is a pretty good idea, it tells that player's opponents that he/she is an irresponsible player(because he/she does not take his/her turns). But I think number of games missed would be better than percentage.
BUT THEN A PLAYER WHO MISSES 1 PERCENT BUT PLAYED 2000 GAMES

WOULD APPEAR TO BE WORSE THAN A PLAYER WHO MISSES 5 PERCENT BUT ONLY PLAYED 300 GAMES

I'm sure there were lots of good reasons why it was suggested so many times
What are you afraid of...have you been a deadbeat so many times that you want to hide it???
