I don't believe in aliens, I acknowledge that they could very well exist. So, I voted no in order to be honest.

That's cos they're drunk and they think that they've been abducted!

i have always wondered if talk of an alien anal probe was just an euphemism for gay sex.

We know:
a) the universe supports life
b) the universe is fucking enormous. It puts even those bowls of pork scratchings you balance on yourbelly during football games to shame.
Hell, the chunk of universe we can observe is massive and yet tiny, relatively speaking.
Billions of galaxies containing gazillions of stars mean a lot of planets. and great chunks of the universe are much older than ours. More time - more probability of life evolving.
So the odds are hugely in favour of there being life on other planets.

I do wonder how religions will react if/when we establish that there is life elsewhere in the cosmos?

They will probably say we should kill it.

Well from my point of view being a Christian I believe that God made the universe and man in it. So if we found other intelligent life out there comparable to our own, then I would have to beleive that I was wrong about God.

I feel we will never find aliens out there that are becasue God made the heavens and the earth and he put the life he created on the earth.

I know I am gonna get mocked for this but I believe that The universe is designed and created by God to have fellowship with us as humans, His creation.

Now I don't want to get into a big discussion, that is not why I posted, I am just givign you my feelings and opinion on the subject.

WM

P.S. If a person beleives in evolution then aliens are very probable. Random evolution on earth could also happen elsewhere. I DON'T believe in evolution. :-)

Because you have a brain that can use stuff like guns, you don't need to be big.

Actually, at about 6ft tall, I'm one of the tallest members of my family. Though it was meant to be a little joke though.

Let's just hope the aliens are friendly... and if aliens are as flawed and deceiving as human beings, let's hope that they do not exist.

I used to get all hung up about stuff like that, until it dawned on me that my view of God was too small and I was in error, by way of placing limits on how God works. Doesn't matter how He did it, just matters why.

not having intelligent life somewhere in the universe would be a bigger upset than something....i literally tried to come up with something that would be a bigger upset than that, and my stupidly human bound existence couldnt come up with something that would be a bigger upset. Ill continue to try in the future, but its unlikely to happen.

I did find a line on bodog though....

It is ignorant to think that there is no other life in this unlimited vast universe.
