I've been shot against all the usual stuff, measles, diphteria, hepatitis, tetanus, meningococcal meningitis, you know.
Or weren't you talking about vaccine shots?

Thank God, newer!
I have a blood disorder (missing some coagulating factors from time to time) so probably any bullet wound would be tricky for me.

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.

yo, i dig that slang. i read Operation Certain Death a little while ago, by Damien Lewis... it was a narrative history about the SAS and SBS operation in Sierra Leone in 2000.
he included a lot of dialogue, and spelled stuff the way it sounds, like "fookin dikhead". i also like that you spelled cause as "cos", because alot of people here in the States write "cuz" to mean 'because', but "cuz" is short for 'cousin', and should not be blurred...
the "innit bruv" -- stuff i've heard before, there are similar expressions common to the US, and of course i've heard that slang in british movies and from british friends.
what i don't understand is the "bare hard" -- would you mind explaining that term?
not trying to sound like an idiot. language just fascinates me, especially slang and cultural argots.
have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head?
or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends?
you only think you did
i could have sworn i saw it too
but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.

The first section is imitating the language of 50 Cent, but sort of using the language of working class British young people. A weird semantic choice really... 'Bare' means 'very'.

Did you get a whooping for shooting him?
haha, no. He knew better than to tell on me. He was younger and much smaller back then. He would have gotten beat up more. Now he is much larger than me and could lift me up with one arm.... I wouldn't shoot him now unless I had a good head start on running.

Mine didn't tell on me either. My dad walked out of the house and saw me with the gun and knew something was up. I knew better than to lie to him. Because if I did lie the whooping would of been much worse.
