i was hoping for there to be a clear majority but there's not yet
at the time of this post off-topic topics is only winning by 4 votes
which to me is not a good majority, yes it is a mojority, but not large enough
which leaves us with a dilemma about the name change
which means i want more people to vote until we get a decisive majority and the poll has been open for a reasonable amount of time

i'm hoping that one side will have a good majority, but this is currently not the case, we need more people to vote
and if this poll doesn't sway to one side then we may have to compromise, but i don't really like off-topics/social lounge real well either, but as it was said before only the administration can decide, however i think if there is a solid majority, then the admin will probably listen

Even after you "declare" a winner, it's gonna be changed back. Lack ran a poll already, and people voted on it. The new name is Social Lounge, I think you should just get use to it.

No it doesn't. People already voted to change it and your poll is just sour grapes. I fail to see the dilema.

How many times do I have to explain it to you!
People were mad that they didn't get to vote in the previous poll, so I made a new one so that people would have no excuse if they do not get a voice in this matter.

I have a possible compromise...
Re-name this forum Off-Topic Topics and when the real-time chat room is operating that can be called the Social Lounge, that is of course if the administration thinks that is okay, and the players of CC like the idea.

I think that Social Lounge is a great name for the forum. Why are we voting again? Didn't we already have a vote?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say your reasoning is faulty.
