It is a nice idea but i wouldn't like it as i think that getting small bonuses for Oceana and South America is what makes the map interesting and increasing there territories would just take the fun away for me.

I also think copyright would come into it as mentioned above.

I prefer it as it is but i think some people would like it. :wink:

ofcourse you cantuse that picture just do all the graphics yourself and there are no copyright issues

If we did another classic I'd want to make it 72 territories for 8 players.

In fact, we are kind of in need of simple maps with 72 territories or more.

Is there actually enough support for this map? Its sounds like fun!

I basically did all the things said above, but instead of adding New Zealand, i added Sri Lanka. One of the greatest things about Classic is Oceania. The Oceania---South America connection would ruin that.

I love it! I know this is just a rough draft but it would be nice if the different continents were a little bit lighter than the original. The one I posted is very easy on the eyes and I believe more aesthetically pleasing than the original found on CC. Once again. I love it!

You want the added 6 territories to be brighter? That wouldnt really make sense...

It's probably just my computer but sometimes I have a hard time seeing some of the different colors on the original Classic. I'm not sure what you mean about bonuses. Still the change you made to Oceania with Sri Lanka is not bad at all. I believe it would be a very popular map.

I believe the bonuses might be better if each continent were given one extra army more than the original map.

1. North America 6

2. South America 3

3. Europe 6

4. Asia 8

5. Oceania 3

6. Africa 4
