Yes, I am confused on what you mean. Do you mean that you get half+regular your normal armies, and that hald you can only place on one territory after you fortify? Explain plaease. :)

I do believe though that the missed turns change should not be considered part of the upgrade as anything that is a retrograde step for the site that in effect double penalises those players that miss a turn for genuine reasons, because of the behaviour of a very small minority is clearly not an upgrade and I'd like to hope this can be reconsidered.

You still get all the armies you would have received, you just don't get double the armies to attack with. Best of both worlds!

Let's say you normally would have gotten 3 armies to deploy, and you miss one turn. Instead of starting with 6 armies to deploy you only get 3 in the beginning of the turn to make your attacks. Then once your attack phase is finished you get to deploy the missing 3 armies.

It eliminates the ability to deploy all on one spot and attack with double/triple power as a surprise tactic. But still awards all deserved armies for players who might be absent.

no really what does the new deal on missed turns mean? Do you just get regular amount as if you never missed a turn? I don't get "deferred."

Say you miss two turns. When you come back for your third turn, you start your turn as normal, but w/o your armies from the two previous rounds. After you've hit "end attacks" on your turn, you're THEN given the men from your previous two turns to deploy to ONE country (these are called "deferred" men). THEN you move on to the fortification stage, and fortify normally. So if you're in an unlimited forts game, you can spread those deferred men around as usual.

this is a real cool deal. Real glad i sub'd.

Only thing is, it is a bit hard now to tell the difference between pink, red, and orange on a first look. Especially for the color-blind. :?

You should be able to toggle on the colorblind settings.

Bug yeti c to fix it :P

I believe that yeti took most of the code from stocksr but adjusted it for AJAX, and i remember stocksr saying that he assumed the max number of players was 6 when shown a battle royale game.

I actually find that the biggest difficulty is telling the difference between pink and the neutrals, and I'm not the slightest bit colorblind...

Other than that, top marks as always, lack.

Eh, it depends on ur monitor and it's settings. My monitor is crap, and nomater how i tweak the settings, i can never tell the difference between blue and green unless i take a screen shot, save it as a pic, open it in a pic viewing software, and zoom in lots.

I find it easier to just leave colorblind armies/color codes on all the time. If your one who's practiced and can look around and see automatically where everthing is based on color, good for you, but with practice, one can also learn to train their eyes to quickly see where everybody is based on their color code letters, and there's no reason to ever turn it off except for when armies go into the tripple digits on the small versions of crampt maps. Just try looking at this.
