Bracket and first round maps generated!

One option I'm adding to spice things up: for elimination matches only, teams will have the option to make the series best of 9 or best of 11 if both teams want that. The default is still best of 7. I'm adding this option because I've always felt that doubles have just a bit more of a luck factor than other team games. Once elimination matches are established, teams will have around 36 hours to let me know if they want a best of 9 or best of 11, otherwise the default best of 7 will be selected.

It has come to my attention that JJTheRiskTaker has been missing in action the past few days. Therefore, 300Spartans new partner will be King_Herpes. Just please don't spread that shit everywhere.

If you're in the lower bracket and wish to have an expanded series (best of 9 or best of 11), please either post here or private message me and I'll ask the other team to confirm game count. If no consensus is reached, we default to best of 7.

That is correct, invites were sent to your possible opponents prematurely, so therefore I canceled the invites.

Tin trumpet/ shoop and adolfo/swt pimp are locked in a very tight game 7, round 15 match on CCU. Otherwise first round matches are just about completed and i"ll update the bracket when I get home from work.

June 17 Bracket Update

As soon as a third round series is solidified, I'll roll the next maps.

June 18 Bracket Update

Congrats to General cod/ukey for advancing. That result finalizes the first Round 3 matchup and therefore I have rolled the next set of maps.

Can we play something other than Midkemdil? That's gotta be the worst map on the website (or close to it) and if we're just looking at straightforward maps there's so many to pick from.

Funny you should say that; I was just looking at it yesterday and thinking to myself that it's the ugliest map I've seen.

I think I will remove it from my map pool but not until after this round because there is already a round 3 matchup underway with that map and I've already made all the games. We can all suck it up for a round, just prepare your eyeballs.

There have been lots of competitive matches in the 2nd round. It looks like when it's said and done more than half will have 4-3 results.

My team should be up 3 - 2, with 2 close games left, but it says our series is tied. How come?

July 6 Update

We have a couple new results.

Kingm/bjonte advance and lock up a spot in the Upper Bracket Finals.

Wizz00/itsthegeneral won their match and now await their next opponent.

300Spartans/King_Herpes advance and will now face General Cod/Ukey.

I will roll the next group of maps and send out game invites for the above match today.

The third ongoing match is chugging along and should have a result fairly soon.

Thanks for the congrats, we will wait for you guys again for the rematch in a month or something, but hope it will just be 7 more games, and not 14
