There was a recent (suspicious) extreme traffic request loads to the forum that were making the site very slow to the point that CC became inaccessible at times. Some parts of the forum has been disabled, which includes accessing profile pages, for the time being until this matter has been resolved. bigWham is working on it.

Any news about a fix?
We are missing critical features.

phpBB (the p^latform that drives this site) is reporting massive chinese AI bot attacks
The way to stop them is using free cloudflare it seems:

Just in case helpful to others down the road, I turned off attack mode, but left all of Cloudflare's other bot tools in place, and it's virtually eliminated all the AI-bots. At least for me, CLoudflare (free) is working like a champ.

Look, the site can't be held responsible for AI bot attacks.. I think they installed countermeasures (cloudflare) asap so what more can you do? First identify the problem then deal with it and they did. This is 2025 real life...shit happens online

True
Still this as been a ongoing issue of late. And what they can do when its noticed is extend time. I take a bit of pride in not missing turns.
And i couldnt report it ... since i got kicked out all the time. So either a diff way to report isdues or when admin is working on it a heads up that they do.
Like u ssy its 2025... email me

There is Facebook and discord where you can report if needed as well. But people were reporting already, just took awhile to get ahold of ppl & implement something
As far as extending turns etc I can’t really comment beyond I know in the past they’ve not done it very often

This is wrong, the site is responsible for the security from external attacks. Not using dedicated Cloudflare for cybersecurity and DDoS prevention means the site had inhouse solution(or in our case it didn't) for these types of threats.
P.S. There have always been bots(AI didn't invented them, it only allowed for easier creation). They existed even before the site.
