If you genuinely dislike my posts opposing the SS, please post or PM me. I do take honest criticisms on board, and I'm open to discussion.

I only ask that you do the same.

Meh, I posted my reply, pointing out how the post was incorrect. Not much more I can say really. I can only show it to be wrong, I can't ask you to acknowledge it.

Well, working with this latest hint.... the Ottomans lost a hell of a lot of turf in WWI, so it doesn't help much, but it might help a bit.

Working with the original 625 hint... 625 BC was when the Babylonians began their war of independence against the Assyrian Empire. Ancient Babylon is not far from modern Baghdad. Could be Baghdad. And of course the place was recently occupied by the U.S., so it is America-relevant, and also features on multiple CC maps. That's my best hope at this time. Baghdad?

If we go with 25-6 instead of 6-25, it could be a reference to Isiah 25-6, where God promises to fill Mt. Zion with tasty treats for the Jews to eat. Could it be Jerusalem, also lost by the Ottomans in WW I?

One final thing to check. The oldest known painting of Jesus (and yes, it shows him as unequivocally black) was unearthed at Dura Europos in Syria. (This great archeological treasure has recently been blown to smithereens by the ISIS vandals in their quest to destroy all evidence of pre-Islamic religions.) There's no major city really close by. I guess the closest would be Rutbah, which is on the Battle for Iraq map, but it's more of a village than a city. This one is a bit of a stretch.
