Very happy our paths crossed again on the occasion of your birthday and we started chatting again about a challenge we'd considered years ago.

Do we need to lay down some ground rules? I mean, there's freestyle and unlimited/no forts etc etc. Shall we keep it to 1v1 clan war rules which always seemed sensible. And what about starting? We could make it very equitable by having an equal amount of first turns (easy to do, just don't go first on home maps and waste the troops). I'm easy either way and could just as happily let Fate play her part

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss this site, but have to add the break has been good and was very necessary (I've three children under 6 FFS!)

Personally would have preferred all games to have been esc rather than flat rate (FR has such a luck factor, plus esc can speed-up the games) but will go with your suggestion and hope luck favours me
