In ONE WEEK We got all the way up to 17 teams.

I was hoping to try and revive the team game tournament scene... perhaps we are on our way? I'm keeping the tournament open and will plan to do a randomly seeded play-in round (will not count towards win-loss in the double-elim bracket, will just be to make it into the main bracket) if we don't make it all the way to 32 teams

For instance if we have 20 teams, 8 teams will play a match against a random other team of those 8. Winner of each BO3 matchup makes it into the tournament. Unless anyone has an issue with that I'm open to other options and could take a poll from participants on which way to go.

All are in up to here, even the entire A^ clan

Losers brackets are usually flexible, so losers of the play-in could be seeded in the loser's?

Speaking for myself, the tournament format and settings together with low number of games adding to the gameload made it interesting for me to join. Sometimes tournaments turn into a huge gameload especially in endgames/finals and thats not so fun I personally believe. I prefer to focus on a limited number of games and ( hopefully) play them well.

Also very nice with a lots of hard contenders that signed up. Lots of Generals to take down

Looking forward to a nice clash and especially some interesting internal A team fights

Josko is busy with Fall I would guess…but a rock/Lou combo would be good too.

Josko is busy with Fall I would guess…but a rock/Lou combo would be good too.

If 2 of 3 games are non-trench, I would play. There are some maps which are very playable and strategic in trench but random map + trench can easily lead to a game where team with lucky first start wins, which is not so much the case for random map + non-trench.
