There you go, two new recruits in need of sponsors. I'll put their names up on the first post and two dudes can help these guys.

Also, General Monkey won a game. Not due to my help, but still

Heres the questoin

Do they have to be new recruits bcse like me i started like a little ago but im private now and i always need advice. So do they actually have to be "New Recruit" or can there be a game limit like 17-20 games. I mean i wouldnt have minded the advice when i started. Ive only played 11 games unlike experienced players. So my questoin is whats the level the sponsers have to be and how many games they should have played. Cause u dont want the sponser to have a lower rank than the kid ur sponsering. My other questoin is what does New Recruit count as. And Rocket will u be my sponser man.

If anyone would like to sponser me, it would be much appreciated. I could always use more advice. Kelwboy has offered me great advice thus far, perhaps he reads this thread? I'll take anyone that thinks they're worthy of giving advice, cause it probably means it's good. Thanks.

Alright, the program has changed from sponsor a recruit to sponsor a new guy until he's ready to work on his own. But his wins stop counting after he becomes a corporal.

Parker4s and Easye, you're on the first post. Good luck with your games.

Also, General Monkey has lost two games and won one since I started sponsoring him. I am in the lead!

But there is no competition, so it isn't much to be proud of. Some rise up to the challenge already.

Sorry JND, I didn't search :? I'll mention you, though. Post the link to the suggestion if you want me to link to is.

And OneManArmy, you're the last new guy that I'm entering tonight. Lucky you.

I'll help someone out if they want, but it would be handy if they're on the same time zone - or logs on at a time with me (cause I prefer to play open games).
Oh and they've got to be into no cards - or at least flat rate. None of that freestyle or escalating pish.

True, but I'll just help them how to win doubles, no cards, classic!

Seriously, Escalating and Freestyle just aren’t Risk. I'm not saying they don't require skill, but they've little relation to the board game - so I really only play them when I'm challenged. I could show someone how they work - but to be honest other players (probably in North America - where I believe it was commonly put in the rule book) would be better to take someone through escalating.

Perhaps I should sponser "Optimus Prime 9" since he just took my name. Dang it, I was hoping it would last longer before someone copied me.

Luckily no one is going to copy me. (And if someone else, it'll probably be a multi. ;) )

Um, jnd, that isn't what I was thinking of. I didn't mean participating in team games with them, I just meant offering advice in their games and stuff.

Anyway, this idea has been way more successful and needs way more work than I thought, so I'm asking wicked if he can find a mod (or mods) willing to manage this. So hold off your offers to mentor and requests for mentoring right now, 'cause there's probably gonna be a new, mod-run thread soon that's gonna be more organized and stuff.

And:
I am still in the lead! General Monkey has joined another two games and has finally started wondering who I am. I'm gonna link him to the thread and see whether he agrees with it or wants me to stop bugging him (I'm thinking the latter, I re-read my messages and even I think I'm creepy).
