I hope not and I hope we can find some somewhere... but we definitely were much luckier than you guys in our war overall

Batch 2 is looking considerably better for us.... but so much to catch up after the batch 1 debacle

As solid as my luck was in set 1, it’s been more worse in set 2.

This is gonna be a close finish.

I currently have the score at smthg like FOED 25 - LHDD 24.
This could very well finish with a 1-2 game difference.

I don't think foed finds itexciting after a 20-10 or so on batch 1

19-22 but it all looks pretty even overall with a bit more games leaning our way to fill that 3 games gap, after that there are a lot of undecided games that will decide the winner of the cup... nail biting final!

i have it at 23-25 for you guys in decided game, then in leaning our way I see quite more on our side. Goooo dragons!!!!

I would have never bet a penny on us after batch one ....

21-23 official, still 23-25 on decided games, and still a bit of advance for us on games leaning our way, but no one would get 31 with games leaning.

this war thread is awfully quiet for a CC9 final which such unpredictable result... not a single outsider! I guess they all thought FOED had this won after watching batch 1 and left the chat

Yeah that’s not really what you say usually at this stage of a war, but I guess it could work this time... we reached the money time... who will get the prize ???

I think that for us usa 2.1 is pretty much won; I don't see how you guys could make a come back on sydney classic cities; and on your side there is the NZ where i don't see how we could make a come back... so that would make it 24-25

after that, I think there are roughly 7 games where we have a small to good advantage, maybe 3 where you guys have one, and 2 that are very tied. I don't know if you guys at FOED see it the same way...

So basically it kind of looks like we are heading towards a 31-28 right now in our favour... but games leaning your way doesn't mean you end up winning them... if you guys get the 2 tied and turn around just 1 game where we are ahead tu cup is yours... this is how close things are, at least from my perspective...

Totally agree betiko... I think we are mostly depressed/frustrated/surprised at how poorly this set has gone for us. Y’all have made a valiant comeback, and we are going to need quite a bit of luck to find 31 wins.

Regardless, Merry Christmas everyone. Grateful for the fun competition. Trying to not let it make me upset like I sometimes get.

That Valley of Kings win probably seals it. Frustrating game that one was. Bummer

Yes I don't really know what was going behind the scene on it because of the fog, but you guys were pretty much in control most of the game making it hard for us to card, mostly with 3/4 players getting crap dice and struggling to make 6v3 for spoils and all... but with the advance you probably had i suspect some dicefarts on your end... even i don't think i would have played the last round as you did with all the vulnerable players on the board. I think you focused too much on killing me at some point.

Anyways, 23-24..... we have up to 9 games strongly leaning our way, I will admit i would be really upset if you guys manage to take 2 from those 9 + all the remaining ones.

We really understand the frustration of the second set for you guys, as it's pretty much what we felt on the first set. This remains a game where playing well against an opponent playing well... no matter the small strategical edges a team can have on the other, the luck factor will always come first. We started with all the bad luck and you guys ended with all the bad luck.... and let's be honnest, this final was quite epic!
Most clans have had to play a few finals before conquering the graal... after our defeat last year in the finals and a few frustrating semifinals... we are about to make it unless something catastrophical happens on a few games.. just hope I'm not jinxing us

To be honnest with you, it was written in our private thread, that we're upset that this amazing comeback is happening against your clan. We appreciate your clan more than some other, and it would have been a real pleasure to realize it against some other clan.

Looking at the games remaining, while some look impossible to turn around.. a few could get ugly in case of several turn bs dice... we still need 8 victories to make it official while the need 7..

That's really impressive what we are doing, especially at this stage of the CC cup... Makes it even more priceless ! Great battle against you guys, it was really nice and fairplay as always !
