Claims to want an intelligent conversation about the N-word but has nothing intelligent to say on the topic.
There were slaves and slave-owners of every race. What's your point? How is that related to the use of the word being acceptable?
I don't think the hysteria surrounding the word is justified - context and intent are important. For example, I thought it was ridiculous for Kendrick Lamar to call out a white fan for rapping the lyrics to his song.
On the other hand, I also don't get why people have a problem with refraining from using it. If (some) black people feel disrespected when you say it, why would you want to?
Can you point to anything that was said in this thread that could be considered far-left?
