Actually that is not true, for decades afterward they still kept expanding. Not taking as large chunks at a time, but still one settlement at a time over long periods. Only recently for the first time has an isreali court judged that one of those patches has to be given back, only one out of many. Too little. Likud, the largest party in Israel shows no genuine intention to strike peace.

The isreali's better watch out, because if one day an american administration were to withdraw its support to Israel, the jews will be fucked and they will have nobody but themselves to blame.
