how long will day and night phases last? i think that would help indicate how long the game may be, based on how many players sign-up.

If it seems to be dragging, I'll give a deadline for a lynch / no lynch. Of course, as there becomes less people the length of time will shorten (the days in the middle range are generally the longest with the most debate).
Nights should be pretty quick, to collect night actions and provide a write up.

Majority lynch, or plurality, or combined.

If you are not going to give deadlines, you at least need to have general requirements for activity. Someone who posts once a week, is going to greatly hinder the game because of lack of content. (i very strongly recommend deadlines) A game can easily have plenty of discussion going on, and take 2 weeks per day phase. This can quickly amount to a game of 16 people taking 2 months or more. So having a defined amount, can help people adjust as necessary / make the call if they have enough time. Minimum posting imo, would be one post every other day, I strongly recommend at least one post a day, or at least 2 or more when you can post.

Need a few more sign ups by April 1, otherwise if we can't get ~9 or so might have to cancel.

TNC is playing, but we are having a caucus to determine our representative.

i think you should open this up to 2 guys per clan; and not give them necesairly the same alignment. they could discuss in their clan forums... but obviously without knowing. Actually... anything but mafia/mafia would work. but in that case... if you kill one and that he turns up mafia... and his clanmate is still in the game well you'd know for certain that he is not mafia... or not! if there is any kind of role that turns a 3rd party into a mafia in case someone dies..?

Announcement

Based on some of the feedback I've received (both in thread and via PM), I think it'll be best for us to shelf & cancel this event for right now.
There is a lot going on in clans right now, and this didn't spark the interest hoped for. I will coordinate with some more mafia people into finding a more unique set up that is more applicable to clans and might be a bit more unique and interesting for everyone involved.

Thanks for all the positive comments and feedback as well! I will continue to work on interesting events that the clan area can enjoy a little more events & contests out of the ordinary.
