It's pretty fun. Tennis is a nice sport, that shot was taken at my friend's tennis game.
How about a couple of more shots?
P.S. Nice stuff, Static. I really like the drawings.

real nice slash. on the third image, did you add that circular effect with photoshop or was that accidental? and I really like the texture on the statue

Thanks, that one was Photoshopped. After looking at it once I realized some circles could do it some good.

Slash and Static i have to say im really really impressed.
Slash because you capture still life in a very real and yet idealistic way which is very good and Static your manipulated and created images are stunning.
Very bizzarre and very pleasing to the eye.,
I have to say guys you are putting me to shame.

I like your song too...its really hard to compare writing and visual art, so I wouldn't say that...

slash, static, unriggable,I raise my hat for ya.I myself tend to value visual arts more than written, because I don't have any talent for it.
Allthough there is a good point that they can not be compared,I think any fool can write, but not just everyone has the eye for visual art,or a steady hand able to put down to a paper or canvas what you visualize in your mind.I think they can be more creative forms of art, where everyone interprets what they see with their own way, whereas in written form, most of the context is already given, with lesser room for interpretation.
And no offence to Dariune,Vincent M or even myself,I respect written art too..

ooh a debate

I actually think that with writing, you can be just as interprative as with visual art... you can have different kinds of meaning, symbolism, political/social statements, sarcasm, alliteration, and definitely lets not forget rhythm. Any writers know what I'm talking about with rhythm? I forget the real word (took creative writing last year) but you use the "^'s" and the "/'s" to manipulate the pronciation and give the poem flow...

Is the word emphasis?

no, but that's another tool for writers...

No offence taken but i couldnt disagree more.
Both types of artist hold their place in society and it is impossible to say one is better than the other.
What i meant by my earlier comment was that Static and slash are very good at what they do. I however am adequate at what i do. There is no comparison, i was just complementing those who do what they do well.
On that note, another song. This one is kinda a love song and i wrote it about three years ago.
The Lost Friendship
All this time I thought you’d be
Im my life for me to see
When you go im not complete
Im barred down
I think of your thoughts so depressively
Their too hard for me to be
When I lie I think I hate me
You wont find out
Although you’re here you cant be seen
Hell would be an opportunity
A London station feeling lonely
I lose out
I lose out
You come calling my name, a lost friendship
I hear it but its not the same
Its not in me, I know I just cant try
I am falling through
My feelings for you
I don’t know what to say
I say it anyway
I say it anyway
I feel so lost in my own home
Lost in the past and how you’ve grown
I think I could have called you my own
I just cant care
I look for relief with my tongue in cheek
I think your answers are going to break
I know I cant but it doesn’t change
Im so scared
You came calling my name , a lost friendship
I hear it but its not the same
Its not in me I know I just cant try
I am falling through
My feelings for you
I don’t know what to say
I say it anyway
Im falling down
I go past the ground
No matter how I lie
You know im dead inside
Sorry I lied
The life you chose came to a change
Apolagetically called me deranged
Left alone you forget my name
Im so tired
I know that you tried to help me
I tried to help you back vainly
I cant work out what to say
Im on my own
You come calling my name, a lost friendship
I hear it but its not the same
I need your help but I cant ask
I am falling through
My feelings for you
I don’t know what to say
I say it anyway
I wish id never said
Or maybe I was dead
I want it over with
The lost friendship
The lost friendship

dariune I love that song... in fact reminds me a little of this one Interpol song, but I won't post the lyrics, I don't want this thread to turn into a "band lyrics thread". But I love the emotion you put into it.
and s.xkitten, why is your freewebs account under kramsey's name?

I wrote some essays back in the day which I'm quite proud of.
But all of them are far to long to post here.

I took this.. About 6 months ago. It still captures my attention. It may not be as good as Slashes stuff, but whatever.
P.S. The circly lines in the top left hand corner were always there. I don't photoshop my stuff, I just leave it the way it is.

I write a little but mostly short comics for fun. I usually don't have the patience to sit down and write much more. Though at one point I did write a 120 page story on the computer but that was unfortunately lost when we got our new computer.

What was the story about?

EDIT

by strike wolf
It was a spoof on a really bad movie I had seen (a horror movie with vampires). The movie was pathetic so on a whim I just started writing and throwing in jokes, added werewolves and zombies and all that good stuff just to make it a bit more interesting and not too much later I was done. I never showed it to anyone but I did make a comic version of it after the file was deleted.

Skittles, that's a really cool shot but I think it's just a bit too diagonal. And I'm digging your water in that picture, bedub. Everyone else's artwork is quite good as well, but I'm not as experienced in any other form of art to really give an opinion.

Yes, I do take my pictures on angles, for some reason. I'm slowly getting used to hold it straight

Ha, well, it's not a criticism, just sometimes it doesn't work out quite as well as it could. If you take everything diagonally though, that's interesting in itself because you have your own defining characteristic to your artwork. Good stuff.

If I was on my user account I could get some more pictures, but alas, I am not. So later.
