Just a note from CD perspective as part of the competition however, the remakes would not be enforced through the CD's. But if everyone makes the required posting about what was accidentally hit / neighboring etc it wouldn't be an issue anyway.

We have always honoured the 12hour fog rule in wars. It's a courtesy thing.

then take out the remake clause, just have the courtesy rule?

12 hour Fog of War rule in effect. If broken, the offending team has to copy/paste
game log and reveal those territories that would have been visible to opposing team.
The rule does not apply to conquest maps or where the only action is deploy/fort without attacks.

Now I know what you're saying, penalty for not following the 12hr rule if it's in place. Looks like that won't be a problem, so anyone heard from RA on their opinion? Well I've informed the clan that the 12hr rule is in place for all fog games except for conquest maps. We are happy about this and won't need to label games as such.

RA never has and never will support the Fog rule. I've debated a bit about it in the past, but it seems that people have different perspectives about it. And there are ladies on this site, such as myself, so why is it a "gentleman's" rule?" (I am partially joking with that last comment).

If I am playing a fog of war clan game, I would prefer if the other team DID NOT wait for 12 hours or tell us their starting locations. To me, it diminishes the competitiveness and ruins the whole spirit of fog. I don't want to know where my opponents' regions are- that's the whole fun of playing fog. I want to rely on skill, strategy and the game log to try to figure it out myself. Going second can possibly be a disadvantage on many maps/games/settings, but I accept that. But just because my team moves second, doesn't mean that we need any sort of freebie, or hint to try to "level" the playing field; we can do that ourselves. At least, that's how I look at it. I apologize in advance if I offend anyone or seem "uncourteous." That is not at all my intention. I just do not like the principal/purpose behind the rule, and I could never abide to it with "good feelings."

I'm sure many of you guys will probably have no problem beating RA with or without the Fog rule, so hopefully it will not be a big deal that I vote no. I definitely think we are the underdogs here, but I am honored that we made it to the Premier League for the first time in our clan history. I very much look forward to facing all of you. Some clans- it will be our first match-up ever.

I am sure you get the difference between midturns and the initial picture of the map. Both teams deserve to know how the drop was before game begins and that has nothing to do with having fun playing fog, it's about being good sportsmanship. What you are talking about applies perfectly for every turn except for the first one.

Ok guys, let's not discuss this issue in this thread. In my experience people have strong feelings/opinions about the FoW 12 hour courtesy rule and you're unlikely to change those feelings/opinions with a few posts back and forth.

Let's all simply respect each others point of view and whether or not a clan decides to follow the courtesy rule or not.
