5 doubles tournament wins
100 Doubles wins

However, is it still possible to join this tournament courtesy of score, even if you don't have 20 doubles wins with your partner?

Apart from the 8 teams that will qualify directly, how many teams are coming from the sattelites and how many spots are left after that?
Are u planning more sattelites?(those 2 filled really quickly)
thanks

Could you clarify the selection rule to entry please?

To only let the best and brightest compete, of course there are tournament requirements. There are two different ways to join this free tournament:

Be one of the top 8 teams who sign up that have won at least three doubles tournaments.
OR
Freemiums may join and play round 1, but premium must be purchased in order to advance past round 1.
You must have won at 20 doubles games with your partner.
This is not first come first serve. Ties will be broken by player score when sign ups end on January 30.

How is it determined that we are one of the "top 8 teams" (having won 3 doubles tournament ) ??

If I am not one of the top 8 teams, I can still be selected if I won at least 20 double games with my partner but then base on my score ? Right ?
Just a thought, I think it's relatively unfair to select based on score, since it's a double tournament, shouldn't it be select base on double's score or win% percentage of team rather than score?

Not sure how fair is it. Me and my partner only played 1 dubs game together but i feel we are tottaly gelled playing together :)
At least i would like to have more sattelites tournaments. 2 feels really not enough for the amount of people interested.
I also dont know how many teams are supposed to participate on the main championship

I think these championships are a great idea. However, these delays in starting them and questions not being answered are taking a lot of the excitement away.

I appreciate what the organizers are doing, but the 1v1 championships are already 2 weeks late. Who knows when the doubles will start, my round 1 satellite game is still ongoing.

Have any thoughts been made to start satellites earlier for upcoming events?
