Ya to keep track I'm just using a word document. If I have a game that meets the stamp I put the game number next to it. Plan to put the game tags on when I send it for review.

You can use drafts on CC. If you start to send a PM, and click "Save Draft" it'll be right here  ucp.php?i=pm&mode=drafts :)

Notes

Games must start between CC Time: 2013-12-16 00:00:00 and CC Time: 2014-01-01 00:00:00 to be considered for the Challenge.
Each stamp will only be awarded ONCE per player.
A single game can earn its winner(s) multiple stamps.
If a team game meets the criteria for any stamp(s), each member of the winning team will receive that (those) stamp(s).
Data from all games that have finished by Jan. 1 will be collected on Jan. 1. After that, games will be monitored as they finish.
Any issues will be solved by me, sempaispellcheck and my word is final.

Just to clarify - no prizes will be awarded before January 1.
If you collect enough stamps to earn a prize before then, you'll just have to wait a little while.

No PM is needed. On Jan. 1, I will review all finished eligible games.
Those who have earned prizes and are not in any active eligible games will receive their prizes then.
Those who have earned prizes and are still in at least 1 active eligible game will receive their prizes when their last active eligible game finishes.

Dec. 20th -- 1 down, 15 to go.
Dec. 23rd -- got 4 done, 1/3 of the way to the 5th (Polymorph) and started my first No Forts game!
Dec. 26th -- got 8 done for sure now, plus pretty confident in my last 2 polymorphs, plus the bots should be easy, for a total of 12. Biggest problem is that the 9, 10, 11, 12 player games are taking forever to fill, and of course I'm not sure if I will win any of them, so I keep joining more "just in case". My other problem is that I have no idea how to go about winning a No Forts game.
Dec. 28th -- got 11/16 now, so I guess I should go do the bots games now and I'll have 14/16. I also have a ConquerMan game that's looking pretty good, and out of the 20 or 25 qualifying large games for item 13, I sure hope I win at least one.
Dec. 29th -- Okay bots done. I now have 14/16. Only ConquerMan and the big multiplayer remains. One of my ConquerMan games is looking like a probable win, and assuming I can win at least one of the many multiplayers I should have 16. Not going to stress about it, anyway. Don't need the 500 creds, so I could have stopped at 12; going for 16 was mainly an ego thing.
Dec. 30th -- Yup, got ConquerMan!
Jan. 14th -- Of the 30-something 9, 10, 11, and 12 player games that I joined, I finally won one! =D> =D> =D>
Game 13361528, began during the eligible period
2013-12-28 22:25:57 - Game has been initialized

This is, in fact, the first non-team 12-player game that I have ever won.
Still have a bunch of others on the go, but this is the special one, the first...)

I don't get this. We don't need to give you the game numbers for our stamps either in this forum or via PM?

How will that work?

I think he checks all games and anyone qualifying gets that stamp. So even guys who don't know about this may qualify. I think he said before that he is just checking games at the end.

The underlying answers to these questions lie in this post:

If they are created on or after the 16th, they will definitely count - as long as they start in 2013.
If they were created before the 16th, it's a bit of an iffy proposition - bear with me, and I'll explain.
Since it would be far too much work for me to go into every game on each eligible map and/or setting to see when it started, I'm doing it by game number.
For each map and/or setting, there is a game X and a game Y (X and Y are actual game numbers).
Last night, I went through and found, for each setting, the game with the highest game number of all active and/or finished games that started on the 15th or earlier. That game is game X.
I will log in as early as I possibly can on January 1 and create a game. That game (which I will then drop) will be game Y - for all maps and settings.
For each setting, every game whose game number is lower than Y AND higher than that setting's X will count for this challenge.
Hope you got all that - but don't worry too much about it if you didn't.
In the meantime, I will see if it is possible to search games by start date - which would make this infinitely easier for all of us. I'll keep you posted on that.

jonofperu wrote:So no games previously played count then? All have to be started within the window?
I think (at least, I hope) that my answer to JD's question will answer this question as well.

jonofperu wrote:Do bot games count for other stamps (reinforcements, etc)?
jon found the answer to this in my OP, but just for anyone else who is wondering:
YES. Games can absolutely count for multiple stamps.

iAmCaffeine wrote:I don't get the Farewells.. Do you have to beat that person or just win on the map?
Just win on the map.

dazza2008 wrote:Can the games be speed games or do they have to be casual?
They can absolutely be speed games, but casual is fine, too.

bahrain wrote:do these have to be tournament games? or is any public game fine?
Public, private, tournament, clan war - doesn't matter. All games will be considered.

JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:are stamps issued as games are completed so we know which ones still need to be finished?I'm guessing you have to track it yourself and they will check at the end and issue the medals etc. to whoever has qualified.
Well, you don't HAVE to track it yourself, but you're more than welcome to - in fact, I encourage it!
We will check all games on January 1 (or ASAP thereafter). All games that have finished by that time will be evaluated at that time - all other eligible games will be monitored as they finish.
You will receive your prize (if you've earned one) once all eligible games you are in have finished.

I hope that answers all your questions, but if you have others, don't hesitate to ask!

The process to do that sounds like a nightmare. So he plans to view every map that was created from Dec. 15th-31st that fits any of the stamp settings?

Then he'll have to create a sort of "Checklist" for every IGN he comes across.

Which sounds to me like a lot more wasted time then just having those who qualify send in there checklist with game links.

My experience is that sempai is pretty good with spreadsheets and such. I don't really know for sure, but I suspect he's going to download the games and extract the data through some kind of Excel wizardry.
