The problem with France is that its economy isn't very good. What with the 35-hour workweek and the massive social programs, some French people are not motivated enough to work. To be honest, I think the Euro would be weaker if not for Germany's strong economic contributions.

Good think Sarkosy got elected, I like his buisness reforms.

Obviously minus USA because your so far up our own arses you cant see back out.

But as a general point, people living within a country tend to see and take into account more of the bad points about their own country then outsiders, and in turn have a less favourable view of their own country.


I don't hate the UK.

And yes, there are some damned stupid things we americans do to ourselves. Like not being able to 'take the piss' so to speak (just a quick question from the Brits, I'm still unclear of this phrase's meaning. Could you clear that up, as I'm left with guesswork).
