I have been wondering about this *renting* business of yours for a while now.

I understand to rent a room, rent a house, rent a car. But a pig ? Why on earth would anyone want to rent a pig ?

I mean, I have heard stories about the Scots and their relationship to their sheep. But pigs ? I´m not sure, I want to know, what exactly is going on in your stables overthere ...

On a side-note: Looks like a pretty tight score right now.

lol....will let one of the Big Pigs take this one....all i can say is its a Lonesome Dove reference.....yes and lookin like tight game so far

It´s been ages, since I watched Lonesome Dove. I´ll have to pay attention, what the men of the frontier did with their pigs, next time I come across it ...

By my count, we currently have 15-16 games going IAs way, 15-16 going PIGs. Some clearly decided, but a couple could still turn. 3 games completely undecided. At least from what I can see in all those Fog games ...

"Well we don't rent pigs and I figure it's better to say it right out front because a man that does like to rent pigs is... he's hard to stop." is a classic line from Gus...so it was figured that if we were pig renters...that would put us into hard to stop company. if any two people i've ever met in real life ever embodied the spirit and person of two fictional characters...it would be Berger and Gunn as the mirror image of Gus McCrae and Woodrow Call.

Thank god gunn doesn't have the ability to hang players for not reading game chat...I'd be swinging deader than Jake right now.

But I would grit my teeth and hold back tears when I did it, Dozer.

He'd have hung us all then would have to fall on his own sword too if we had those rules.

Imagine what he'd do to the guy who killed his teammate and then posted how great a turn he'd had before finally realizing his mistake.

Anyone that hasn't done that in Antarctica hasn't played it enough.

Too true sometimes I even kill my partners on purpose on that map.

I have it all even, counting the ones that are leaning one way or the other.

Looks like a good war. Will be interesting to see if the pigs can pull the upset off.

Round 4 games added to thread and final player counts tallied - doesn't appear that anyone has exceeded the maximum games.

Stalingrad quads goes to PIG, but Pelo War Quads goes to IA. back and forth we go

i wasn't convinced stalingrad was ever going to end...it seemed possible our troops might just get frozen in the brutal russian winter in an eternal stalemate. nice game in that ia...good times.

3 more to IA: Circus, AYBABTU doubles, and Age of Merchants.

3 more finished: Jamaica and Stalingrad dubs to IA, AYBABTU triples to PIG. 47 of 61 now completed.

I am beginning to feel slightly optimistic here.

Couple more games looking good for us, but it´s a still a way to the 31 wins we need ...
