Not bad, the tune is good enough to stand without the lyrics, but I much prefer the original version.

This is awesome, I've never heard it before. It reminds me of the Battered Ornaments.

Also, you're severely limiting yourself if you don't listen to lyrical music because it's too conformist for you or whatever. Mr. Otis Redding has more instrumental music in one lyrical line from one of his songs than all of shitty Deadmau5's "music."

Mr. Sam Cooke, with and without the Soul Stirrers, played a velvety smooth vocal instrument. Deadmau5 types shit in to a computer.

Also:

lol. Decrying lyrical music because the lyricist is trying to convey a message or portray a feeling while supporting symphonic music is kinda silly. Pretty much all music, regardless of whether somebody is singing or not, is meant to evoke some emotion or convey a message.

HEY GUYS I DON'T LISTEN TO BEETHOVEN'S NINTH BECAUSE IT'S GOT VOCALS IN THE FOURTH MOVEMENT AND HE'S TRYING TO FORCE HIS JOYOUS ADVICE UPON ME.

did i rustle your jimmies? i listen to all kinds of music. i just thought it was weird that a thread for "instrumental" songs popped up, because that encompasses the majority of music.

and why didn't you post any music? something tells me you're afraid of being judged for whatever shitty music you listen to... probably almost all of it is the same (lyrical) genre, which would explain why you don't understand deadmau5.

Yeah, sorry, that came out a bit harsher than I intended. When it comes to music I tend to speak before considering what I'm saying, unfortunately. I just really hate deadmau5 and his ilk.

I was gonna talk a bit about this next one, but I just listened to it, and I'm still in awe all over again.
Just give it a bloody listen.

I used to listen to a lot of Windham Hill "New age" music. Here are a couple of standouts.

Dweezil live was fucking incredible.

Frank is definitely an acquired taste but have been listening to him since he put out Joe's Garage.

Look at his discography, he was incredibly prolific. When I saw him live he did a vicious Whipping Post.
