i was thinking of making it my avatar.....i just want to make sure i'm not violating any rules. i think your post looks suspiciously troll-like, seeing how it lends nothing to the discussion.

I've never heard of male nipples being considered nudity anywhere until I joined this site. It's rather silly actually.

They are not, though blakebowling was right about the rules being vague.

Community Guidelines wrote:
  • Any images of pornographic activity or nudity - nipples, areola, genitals, anuses etc - whether intended as artistic, erotic, pornographic or otherwise are not allowed.
  • This includes content posted here and links to other sites. Posting NSFW - "Not Suitable For Work" - does not make it ok for posting.
  • If it is ambiguous, we'll ask you to remove it anyway, so "It's a guy's nipple" isn't going to fly. You're just trying to be annoying at that point.
  • Posting a painting from the 13th century with exposed nipples to claim that we're evil dictators when we ask you to remove it is also just being annoying, and you're probably just being a troll at that point.

This does imply that a guys nipple is ok sort of in the 3rd bullet, but that's not really clear. So yes, I will be removing your Venus De Milo.

So now this has me thinking, which is always a dangerous thing. Is a big ole butt crack acceptable? I assume so, as long as there is no anus visible, nor (cough cough) any hint of genitalia.

yes, i would say all but cracks are acceptable, as long as they don't come with male nipples.

Some cracks are unacceptable, especially when they are wise cracks.

What's with you guys and your sexually charged avatars anyway? If avatars are supposed to represent you (or your online persona), how does a sexy woman reflect you? Is it a shared bro code, i.e. "women are hot, I want to have sex with them- just like you! Let's be online friends"? Is it a safeguard against perceptions of homosexuality? Are you suggesting that these are the type of women with whom you regularly engage in sexual activity?

Does my slave girl count as a sexually charged avatar? I've had everything from trees to animals, a trace of dna, landscapes, funny people, sexy people, fictional characters, politicians, pictures of myself and also no avatar. What does jumping around between avatars say about someone? And what does staying with the same for several years say? (andy, woodruff, lackattack etc)

Oh, you're not an oracle? Okay, sorry then. I'll have to turn to BBS for answers I suppose.

:(

Oh, I think this should be delved into. We need serious discussion about this!! Surely there is a deeper significance to how often people change their avatars.
