It means that if Fox news says something, you should check via another source. If your only source is Fox, you'll get caught out like NS so often does.

I don't think that's what he's saying. He did qualify it with an "and" between the two groups. Anyway, this was pretty much the same point I was making. Other websites I visit have most of the politically conservative writers as atheists.

Of course, if you find it insulting that I could presume that the holy and righteous members of the CC forum couldn't accomplish this by themselves then please let me know, and I'll offer a full and unreserved apology....
For people who claim to know they have truth and knowledge on their side, and who are duty-bound by their religious values to love us sinners and do whatever they reasonably can to save our souls from eternal torment, there seem to be a lot of people (not all of them) who profess religion who either duck questions or disappear entirely whenever a conversation gets just a little bit uncomfortable. I have a feeling God will be disappointed and the holy report card checked by St Peter at those pearly gates won't give a high grade for effort....

So, what we see here is a reflection of the inherent limits of written communication. Without access to the other's body language, tone of voice, etc., we're subject to "fill in the blanks," which could easily lead to a misunderstanding, thus conflict/degradation would ensue.

Don't stress about JB. He's extremely sensitive--more so than the Israelis whose family members have died in the Holocaust, and they still make jokes about it.
