And we finally have our 2nd finished match! king15 managed to prevent General Bax from shutting him out by kicking a field goal to end the 3rd quarter, but General Bax's 11-point lead would be impossible for king15 to erase in only one quarter, so the General advances to Round 2!

Halfway through the 4th quarter, machrs backed ProsthoDoc up to his own 2 yard line, then forced an interception and returned it to pay dirt to wrap up a 13-7 win.
machrs will play General Bax in Round 2.

bplp49 punches it in from the 3 yard line in game 25 of the 4th quarter to round off a 17-3 win and finally put an end to Round 1.

Round 2 will begin shortly.

Couple of changes to keep in mind that will be in effect for the rest of the tournament.
Matches will start with a random-map "coin toss" to determine who starts the game with the ball.
If you score in the first, second, or third quarter, your opponent will start with the ball in the next quarter.
Most importantly, to keep the tourney moving, quarters will be limited to 15 games.
