Does anyone remember that crazy sniper who would hangout at Walmarts and Home depots and snipe random poeple? Remember how long it took the government to catch that foo?

Dude, in this situation, Jay is completely right.

The gun didn't decide to kill people, this wacko did. Let's not blame an inanimate object for some wacko's decision, ok?

Nobody is balming the gun (wich was, in this case, smarter then the owner). But, it is my oppinon that a civilian has no need for a gun. If you feel that you will have to defend yourself against someone: a) be carefull how you treat people and b) learn how to defend yourself without a gun. The problem with guns is that: they are to easy to use and the allow the killer to distance himself (both spacealy and emotionally) from the victim.

I can't even imagine the chaos there now. Blacksburg is one of the most wired communities in America, so I know there'll be a lot of info out there, but I imagine all the phone lines and cell lines are tapped out, making parents frantic with worry trying to get through.

my depest sympathy for loved ones of the victums, my sister was on her way when she received the warning so she was very blessed by running late. so be thankful for everything, and dont question the lords plan for you.

I am shocked to hear of this story, and feel for all the victims and their families. But to be honest I'm no longer surprised at this type of thing. There’s been too much of this happening these days.

That is so sad.

Don't let this type of action become 'normalised' or 'desensitised' just because it happens more often than it should.

One such shooting is one too many :(

33 now dead (incl. the maniac), 15+ still in surgery. gunman chained the main doors at Norris Hall from the inside before the killings. then he took his own life. 2 people (male & female) were killed in the West AJ dorm that morning, then two hours later the Norris Hall incident occurred.

no one know for sure but the biggest rumor is that he was going to kill his girlfriends because he thought she was cheating on him. rumor is thats who he shot in the dorms. its unknown why he came back and started shooting in the school.
