Are those an okay size?
I don't know what size he is currently using... I think he is using 32x32.

I dunno, Troy... it could be tried with a smaller size, but the more I think about it the less I like them, the more I want them gone.
It sounds a bit silly maybe, but reading a number is different from interpreting a picture. It takes effort to work out the results of the picture dice. When it was just numbers I could click a thousand times a minute and all that info would run into my brain. As much as the dice screw me over, it's at least fun to WATCH them screwing me over. With the dice I'm just clicking and watching the result... the feeling is just all wrong.
It's a cute idea but nothing about it feels pleasing to me. It feels like unneeded clutter, a poor solution to a problem that didn't exist.
[EDIT] Oh, and I second Ishiro... it would at the very least be best on the left again.

no dice
have to agree the with above - dont like the dice pictures and have lost a few other items on the screen because of it - i.e. who is playing, waiting, played icon! agree with the scrolling which is frustrating.

Just want to say that I'm listening to your feedback. I know the dice adds to the scrolling, that's why I'm making the screen jump down to the map when there are rolls. I agree about making the dice smaller and moving them to the left - that should make the rolls less obtrusive - but I don't plan to get rid of them.
You didn't loose that. Hit refresh (F5)

new dice
it looks alright, but now cc is running SUPER SLOW on my comp- My poker and gin websites are still as quick as ever, so i know it can't be just my computer. anyone else experiencing unusually slow cc since the "upgrade?"

yeah, just to voice my opinion...I don't really like the dice either. I have noticed things are a little slower now too and the scrolling is not as favorable as without them. I think it would be awesome to have it as an option, because no doubt with so many people here, some are gonna like it and some aren't going to like it. But whether it stays for everyone or is made optional, I agree with making them smaller and to the left like it sounds like lack is planning to do...

There are only 12 picture images, 6 attacker and 6 defender. They're repeated as needed but only need to be downloaded once. The html needed to display so many pics would be relatively long but would still be downloaded fast. The slowdown lack had during iceman's game was just the repeated cycle of calculations needed for so many rolls.

CC is usually slow on my computer. Maybe the winning dice should be highlighted in red like greasemonkey does with the buttons and such.

I suggested that in the do-or-die button thread before it was created, but Lack either didnt notice or didnt like the idea.

Not nessary, all normal attacks of like 30 or 120 or something like that are fune. Problems take 1000s....

Optional Dice Graphics *Rejected*
Call me superstitious but these new dice graphics have jinxed my rolling.
Id like an option to turn 'em off.
What say ye?

Oooh, good idea... I'm making this a suggestion. Hope you don't mind, I edited the title a bit to be more descriptive
Hey Lack, has it been a month yet?
==============================
Suggestion Idea: Make dice graphics optional
Specifics: User can pick between graphics and "old style" numbers
Why it is needed: Choice! Better for people with slow connections, and others who just don't like the dice (like us engineer types who'd rather just see numbers)
Priority: 3.9
