Good point...I had done so but took it off because I thought it actually made the legend less readable, but...

If you now only change West-end to 4 it is done

So a new graphic is up for now, but I don't mean to close the debate about bonuses...I still think the west end as a 5 is a good balance to the awesome power of the West Island (Suburbia + Ile Bizard) which totals a 5 with only 2 borders if both are held (and I don't know about in your games, but that seems to happen in mine). I think Transalpinia might do with an increased bonus, though it seems to be the continent on this map that no one ever holds until the game is pretty much over anyway, like Asia on the Classic. Anyway, this is how it is now:
Ile Bizard - 3 countries, 1 border, 1 invader, bonus 1
Suburbia - 9, 3, 3, 4
(note: Suburbia + Ile Biz = 12, 2, 2, 5)
West End - 8, 3, 3, 5
Transalpinia - 6, 4, 8, 5
Laval - 7, 3, 2, 3
Bout de l'Ile - 6, 3, 4, 3
South Shore - 5, 2, 2, 2
Ville-Marie (including Downtown) - 4, 3, 5, 3
Please consider the points made in the thread that surrounded the first version of this map.

you make valid points id say increase transylpinia to 8 and tis done.

All,
I would like to bring a new idea for the bridges and the West Island.
There is 6 bridges between Laval in Montreal (4 major: 13-15-19-25).
On the map, its look like we have 3 bridge that are representhing mostly the 15, 19 and 25).
I would like to see an extra bridge (representing the 13) that is going from Chomeday (west part of it) to DDO (most est part).
This can provide an extra link to attack the west end (still only 2 area to protect).
Please provide comment.

I did the revamp on this map. We are not allowed to change the borders or attack routes of a map in a revamp.
The change you ask for might not seem like much but it does affect gameplay. Based on all my experience here, you will not get the map changed and this small of an issue does not warrant a completely new Montreal v2 map.
There are many maps that choose to alter reality to help out gameplay. You found one of those choices in this map.

I like this map a lot. Its bring different strategy and approach to the game.
