i think the only reason gears of war is so popular is because its so close to Halo ever since that game came out creators have been trying to make others just like it.

I'm fine with anyone who likes either Xbox or Nintendo because they aren't really the same type of consol.
Xbox focuses on online gaming and other awsome technical interactive stuff. A great system to have if you have all the hookups. Call of duty 2 multi player beats most every shooter out there.

Nintendo focuses on inovative gaming. They appeal to all audiences and have several lines of gaming devices with countless exclusives for each. Not to mention backwards compatablilty with the wii. A great system to have for parties or even single player.

Playstation has never really been the best at anything. They tried online gaming but were beat out by Xbox. Their games weren't nearly fun enough to beat out Nintendo. And their graphics were worse than the both. So in an attempt to be good at something they added blue ray. If you prefer graphics over the interactive fun of Nintendo and Xbox then go ahead and buy a PS3.

Me, I'd rather spend $600.00 on something like a Laptop computer or a car or maybe a handgun.

One thing though, when the internet is up for the Wii, can you play multiplayer games online? For Call of Duty 3 in particular?

I'd go for the SNES, but Rogue Squadron on the N64 is by FAR the best game of all time so the N64 takes it...

I am more of a PC kinda guy (Browser Based Games, NWN, WoW, SWG, CoH, CS, Lords of Magic, SC, and GW), but hands down the XBOX360 is the best system available now. It has games for all the market niches (Family Oriented to Mature), has the most stable internet play (barring an actual computer), and offers an almost unlimited potential to the varieties of game physics to be used while not trading off for control and simplicity. Sony is seriously lagging (who the f*ck cares about blu-ray, and the PStation hand held was a total failure, both in sales and marketing), and Nintendo needs to catch up for its failure with the GameCube (pump out more then two games a year on average, amirite?), although they are relatively safe with their domination of the family oriented games, known name and reliability, and monopoly over the hand helds.

Ive always been more of an Xbox person myself. The 360 is no where near as good or durable for that matter. playstation has always been maybe 3 steps behind and nintendo is targeted to much towrds children
