Conquer Club is wholly owned by a shadowy Canadian oligarch known only by the name 'Lackattack'. His office declined to comment, and when we attempted to interview Mr. Lackattack in person, we were chased off by mustachioed belligerents and what appeared to be a curious monkey.

Did you make the avatar?
Also, I'm thinking of stealing either Serbia's or Flickflack's now. I remember chillin in the burbs when the boys brought the Cup home in '97, that was awesome. And I first experienced a $6 glass of La Fin du Monde in Ann Arbor six years ago and fell immediately in love. Perhaps I will lay off the whiner now that I have new avatars to steal.
I salute all those that have stolen the featured avatar, which is pretty cool.
Anyone that uses 'n00b' without a sense of irony is a complete loser who ought to travel more and smoke. I cannot believe the amount of stereo-types being paraded in this thread.
Jesus....

I'm a n00b here. I haven't even bothered to create or steal an avatar yet. I read through three pages of discussion, but no one answered the question. Did the OP create the avatar or borrow it?
Somewhat off-topic, but is there a way to turn off offensive avatars? For me this is just annoying, but for one of my friends it could be seizure inducing.

Not exactly, but you can get rid of the user entirely if it really bothers you:

And you can get rid of annoying signatures (while still keeping the rest of the post) if you want:

I don't know of anything that will allow you to suppress the avatar.
Cheers,

Two people should not have the same avatar, let alone four.

http://www.freewebs.com/wbar8417/animations.htm
so now you don't have to use other people's
but don't use the penguin one, i think someone on the site already has that.

You have a very good point. Those without avatars have nothing to identify themselves and made it very hard for others to recognize their posts, often irritating them into telling them they should get an avi. I should, need to, and am looking for a suitable one. When I find one, I will upload it.

Yes, it's a sketch I did myself. It shows that I enjoy sketching fantacy pictures, that I enjoy fantacy, and that I have talent in drawing. Or at least enjoy stealing someones artwork. YOU wouldn't know. Actually, I could send you the link to my deviantart account that has teh same username as this one. Both are mine.

Holy crap, you've actually had La Fin du Monde? My buddy bought me a bottle as a gift and we killed it in one night.cheeseweasel wrote:And I first experienced a $6 glass of La Fin du Monde in Ann Arbor six years ago and fell immediately in love.
...which probably wasn't such a good idea, but hey.
Oh, and for people who want to "turn off" irritating animated avatars: if you're using Firefox, just hit the "Esc" key. It stops all animated gifs.
