In my opinion, the scoreboard is roughly right. Anyway, even if it is slightly innaccurate, Blitz is still the best since he is about 1000 points clear, no matter how many team games he plays

Well, if he ever starts playing solo games, we might find out. Till then, I think the jury is still out. Winning tons of games when you and a partner are both good and have a team strategy is pretty simple when you play random opponents that often don't know each other. And if one of the opposing team is a poor player, the second player can't really compensate.

Till we see a comparison of how people do when they are playing by themsleves, all we know is how they play as a team. If you think that is exagerrating, go into game finder and search active games for any General. I do it periodically, and haven't seen any of them in a solo game for ages. It's always a ton of team games, and almost always with the same partner.

Hmm... that's funny, since u could only get a maxium of 100 pts. from a player and the maxium players u can get pts. from is 5, I wonder how u did that Darnor.

He means he won 27 points in his first game, so his overall rating went from 1000 to 1027

This was VERY curious to me...
To have played only 1 game, and win only 27 points...
I figured a new player would have had to play 5 very low ranked players.

So I did the math and look what I found...
in a 6 player game, if a 1st time player beat the 5 absolute lowest scores (196,226,278,304,357) on thier first ever game they would gain exactly 27 points....

That's Amazing! I thought to myself.... How is it possible for someone new to get those 5 people into the same game...

This made me want to look at the game itself, to see how it played out... How many deadbeated? Just how bad of moves would I see? How many turns did it take? The curiosity was killing me....

So I looked at the game, giddy with excitement.... I find the game and open it... intent to examine all the details, expecting to see the biggest bottom dweller game of the year. .. I see it, and instantly my sholders drop, Doh!!! The dissapointment of it all.... you see, it's just that I see this game so narrow minded... It didn't even dawn on me that this could have been anything other than 6 player std. It's just that ago I discovered what the hardest games were to win, and that's the only way I've played ever since. So I was expecting a 6 player, std, escalating.

You've already figured it out, haven't you... In fact, you knew it all along, didn't you? (sigh) it was a triples game....

we need a way to keep score.

and yes a no points area is a great idea,,,

and i wanna see an anonymous option,,,, no names or ranks until the game is over

I hadnt heard the anyonymous option mentioned before...that would be interesting....it would lend itself to cheating by some, but the good games would be great...though dug...you might be easy to pick out in some games...lol...you do tend to have your own distinctive style...

Don't worry robin, I was thinking about that too.

First thing that came to mind was a 3 player game with 2 very bad players, lol. But now that I think about it, woulda been very hard to happen that way since even if he beat 2 guys at 700, he'd win 28 points.

But I still can't believe you automatically assumed he won 27 from a 6 player standard game, lol.
