Addition to the no-show policy; officially added to The Official Rules of the Pig Roast.
If, prior to when I begin making tournament games, I find that a player has not checked Conquer Club in the last 120 hours (5 days), and that player has not informed me of their absence, then that player will be removed and immediately replaced by a reserve before play begins.

Sounds like a pretty horrible idea for a tournament, but I guess I will join.

LOL wes, You're going to have to bring your attendance up to 90% please. It will only be a matter of games, so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

It is likely that this tournament may be reduced to a 48-player tournament. The format will have to be changed.
The Current Projection for Changes to the Rules to Allow for 48 Players:
As before, players will be paired in groups of 4. The winner of the group, and the last player eliminated in the group will advance. Players will be placed in "pots" again at each stage of advancement so that the winners of the groups have a slight advantage over the second placed players in the groups.
Players would then be placed in groups of 4 again (6 groups). The winner of each group and the last player eliminated from each group advance then (so 12 advance).
Players would again be placed into groups of 4 (3 groups). The winners advance to the final group of 4, and the 3 second-placed players (1 from each group) play one 3-player game on a Random map to determine who advances as the 4th player in the final group.
This is the most likely format change; everyone is welcome to make suggestions via private messages if you have a better format. I will be working and thinking as well as we approach the Roast.
The basic rules (including scoring, gameplay, etc.) are set to remain the same.
Thanks for your attention.
