Well, that's not a particularly fair statement. I'm pretty sure leaving is fully a choice in this case.

I thank wolffy for his comments of course, and return the respect in full. You are of course right about it being a choice Max, and it is expressly a choice to leave, though in some ways, I have no choice, but to make that choice.

Don't auto. I find whenever I auto, I never win. 48v34 auto- lose. 4v1 lose. 5v1 lose. but if I don't auto I always win.

Your right about the covert randomness we enjoy at CC. But occasionally we are able to enjoy a game or two.

Go ahead and stick around.

Well, I think it was the official reaction that was the straw, not the dice themselves. But I thank you for your post, and feel the same about your posts throughout the years.

I think I should write something here.

Firstly, that was not an official reaction - it was my opinion and I posted it as a member of CC, not as a mod (thou you got confused, I understand that now). But that was me crying out loud of being tired of dice-complaints and all. Every time it came to something like "remove 1-die side of the die for attackers so we don't loose that much". People do not get joy when they don't see it - when your defense of 2 against 6 survived. You never know what could have happened or happened when you were away.
Let me tell a real life example:

Let's assume you are missed the last bus and was forced to go all the way to home by foot. You think this is unfair. But imagine that if you actually took the bus you would have been robbed (with 100% probability) on the bus stop. That way your miss of a bus is actually miraculous. But you cannot know it as you are no god. You always see 1 side of the coin.

So in the dice system... You joy when you roll 6-6-6, you cry when you roll 6-6-6 vs 6-6. But that stuff happens. Somehow people (by a human nature) tend to emphasize on bad things and not good ones.

Secondly, it is not me who locked the thread - I don't have mod rights to do so there. It was somebody from Entertainment team, or from Global Mods.

Thirdly, better luck to you, whether you stay here or decide to finish your CC career.

Yes, you can say that. It was my thoughts that it would be better to hide some kitchen stuff. I guess I should have used different verb for that as it really looks like a proved statement.

Well, as your name is in bold, posting in the tech area that directly involves you, that was an official statement, whether you intended it or not. Keep that in mind next time. It is not me that is confused but you, if you think that was not an official statement. You are of course entitled to your opinion, and even to post it however, and to making mistakes.

The thread probably indeed should have been locked, especially if you as a Team CC person were posting as such. It is nice to know you didnt lock it yourself though. The combo of the post, and the locking at your post, did create a rather in-your-face message, that was at least surprising.

As far as understanding the dice, you're preaching to the choir. I was only ever commenting that I saw a change, and not even that they were more or less random, only that they have changed, and that the probabilities seem to be different. There was a little bitching in that thread to say the least, and perhaps on some level I was too, but I certainly was only adding my experience and reaction to the change, which surprises even me. I have many games still going, and have seen enough to stand by my posts in that thread as well.

Discussing that he plans to make the future policy of not informing about tech changes in an annoucement about a tech change isnt in the tech area? Sorry, if your name is bold and you're suggesting what the policy will be in the future area of your area, you're posting officially, or more importantly, will be seen as doing such. You can officially try to pretend that isnt the case, but Im going to go out on a limb and suggest it wont work, unless you have the jedi mind trick powers, to go with your dice that are fine, which you change, to dice that are still fine, but supposedly better. What is interesting, is that by changing the dice, and defending them in the first place, you must admit that you saying they are fine, is less than believable this time around, especially when they seem to be worse to so many. But either way, its not my problem.

I do agree the dice have changed. Now, if I am going for a card, I quit after losing 2. If I am starting a general assault, I do not move unless I have a two to one advantage, which gets me through about 90 % of the time. Anything less than a two to one advantage is a crap shoot.

It just doesn't seem that my territories pose the same obstacle to others, lol.

Always appreciated your efforts a rationality -- although I honestly could never finish reading what you wrote.

My post was not referring to you at all. I never said you bitched about the dice or luck. You took it personal, I can understand that. All that topic just went to the point when one is telling "square is not a rhombus, because it is angled different". Which to me seems illogical and plainly stupid.

I have nothing else to say here so I will refrain from further discussion.

You of course are entitled to your opinion. You may even post it! And you can be (and are) wrong. Yep, nothing passive-aggressive about that. I agree with Billy, about time for you to start hitting the old dusty trail. Don't let the door hit you in the intensity cubes on the way out.

By the way, I didn't quote your last statement so you have an opportunity to modify it three or more times after you inevitably get burned. Oh deary me, who will play World 2.1 now!?

Does it bother you that you've put so much time into trying to annoy me, and I have absolutely no idea who you are? Im not about to throw around that heavily overused phrase any more than I have to...but if the diagnosis fits...

Many will play world 2.1. Its one of the most popular maps on the site. There are at least three other players that have played more games on it as well. They just haven't won more on it. :D

I'm sure you've written more on a bathroom stall then you've written in the past few posts. Ah, the played out, "I'm tired, you're boring me, I'm leaving" line. Wipe the egg off your face kid. Truth is no one is going to miss a self-absorbed, self-pitying individual like yourself. They are the types of friends you forget to call back about helping move and online, they're the type of individuals you just fucking ignore. Are you sure any communication would be private? Because the way that reads it surely suggests that you've yet to receive any communication. Poor guy : (

As for you getting banned... yeah, you're so edgy and out there that the MAN just wants to hold you down. I'm honestly concerned about you, is there another venue for you to preach and practice your perverted form of self-egotism? You should take up smoking cigarettes, I'm sure that'll make you the coolest kid in middle school and you'll get over this site quickly.
