Unfortunately Phattscotty isn't one of those and doesn't actually think that image is problematic. In other words, he thinks it's AOK to depict black people as monkeys.

Im sorry, that is not racist. Comparing obama to a funny character that happens to be black is not racist. Its actually one of the more appropriate ones out there, except for the fact that the answer is of course no. Posting ones like this that literally have no racist quality to them actually does the fight against true racism harm.

The interpretation is indeed wrong. The obvious interpretation is that the accusations of racism at tea parties certainly arent just some made up political strategy...unless of course, youre suggesting this one is just an innocuous economic statement, and not one full of racism as well.

If it's full of racism, every other poster comparing Obama OR Bush to Hitler/Nazis is also racist. The poster is clearly stating that Obama's economics are exterminating that taxpayers just like the Nazis did to Jews. Bad taste posters (and all posters comparing to Nazis are bad taste) do not equal racist.

If there is some rule about not commenting in a thread, especially and completely on topic, by all means, show it to me, and Ill by all means stop doing it. Ill even take the ban if its against the rules to discuss pictures and other ideas put forth. You may also take note that there are two other moderators themselves commenting on these pictures in this thread as well.

Oh and one more thing. My largest post in here until this one was around 100 words. Again, some subjects require more than a sentence to explain.
