Bruceswar - fine player (not a marsupial as far as I know)
Mr. C - great strategist
KH - on general principle

And a ton of fine random players that no one has heard of but with whom I team up late at night or fight against in The Pit from around the globe.

1. HighlanderAttack-gave me the crash course in Esc. Juggernaut and I've never looked back since.
2. Rocketry-gave me a chance to do my best on the clan scene.
3. Mr. Changsha-witty posts, absolutely surgical tactician.
4. Slowreactor-great chatter and all around nice guy.
5. Nagerous-heart and soul of AU, great poster, and a good player.

Also hold my clanmates and those at FOED in high regard.

5 players who have been taking me on since 2008...

[player]Scholtz[/player]: Without a doubt my most feared standard opponent. Brilliant in gamechat, always polite but hard as nails. Best player I have ever seen at taking a shitty position, holding his lines and coming through late to be competitive at the end. A bit better than me at this element of the game.

[player]Theldin[/player]: Much undervalued player, yet I don't know another flat/no cards player as good at joyously attacking, keeping the game moving, sometimes throwing himself to the very brink and yet being there for the final shake down. Always a must-have in my games due to his always intelligent attacking style.

[player]Janetnick[/player] "Call me Nick". Manfully deals with the fact that every player he comes across calls him 'Janet' and yet always proves he is all man through a game. Better in standard than 8 man dubs, always on the edge of being annoyingly defensive through a long game, yet has the habit of goading me into action late through devious forms of flattery. I admire that kind of mind! Like the others on this list, builds his empire beautifully.

[player]Agent 86[/player] One of my friends here in Changsha. Currently a colonel, he spent a good 18 months scrabbling around the low officer ranks learning everything he could. All the maps, numerous styles, tons of experience. I don't rate him as a brilliant example of my particular style (though he is more than decent), but his overall play as a classic all-rounder has my deep respect.

[player]Fruitcake[/player] Brilliant trips player. Simply stunningly cool at that style. Also excellent at all standard games played sequentially. Not to be discounted at dubs or quads either.

Finally a quick mention of my partners [player]manwiththeplan[/player] and [player]spoongod[/player]. Appallingly known as my 'multis' in some circles (due to their lack of any forum presence) they are a huge part of any teams success I have had (8 man dubs/trips) as I realise every time I try out new partners and almost always fail to win! Both quite capable of making 2000 points before 100 games and both very dangerous standard players (spoon at flat manwiththeplan at no cards).

Lot's of other players I respect...they know who they are as they are the ones that get the invites to my games!!!!

Anyway, I will decline to post my most respected as there are too many to list and I would hate to leave someone out.

I don't have a top 5 because there are so many players in the tournaments who deserve to be named but there's one guy who really deserves mentioning and it's [player]ZionT[/player]. Reaching brigadier and just by (mostly) playing tournament games, this is awesome. Plus, he has a great personality and attitude towards the game.

dividedbyzero-super player, but he is most kind + the most generous I have found on CC-wonderful person, big heart
nephilim-we go all the way together from 2006, liked him since the first time I met him, very loyal
incandenza-does the most for our clan as a whole, he is the glue that holds us all together

retired: david_wain-met in person (knew him the most), super guy and probably the best doubles player the site will ever have


I could mention so many more, there are literally dozens and dozens I respect and admire on CC, most of you know who I love and respect, all in Thota and many more outside it.

p.s. something should be said for johnnyrocket's, and highlanderattacks commitment and passion to the site.

1.BW-Used to team alot back when we both began our CC careers.Don't see him much unless facing off against him now.
2.Seul-He always plays an epic game.
3.Mhenni-Another great person to play versus.
4.Jr24-This guy is probably one of the realest people in an online world.
5.Clapper/H2SY-Gotta love the ladies...
