This is so funny. All I want to know is how are you going to remove this at noon with all the different times frames?
These days, anyone who plays a prank after noon is supposedly an "April fool" themselves

You may take your turn now. ... or, you can Flip the Board!
Flip the Board on Game 6621949!
Are the dice rolling against you? Did someone violate your treaty? Does victory appear impossible?
If you aswered "yes" to any of these questions, please consider taking control of your fate and flip the board! It costs only $25 USD.
Flip the Board earns you the following benefits:
• Territory ownership will be completely reshuffled amongst surviving players
• Troup amounts will be randomized between 1 and 50
• Conquer Club takes the integrity of the game very seriously: we flip territories and troops based on true random numbers from random.org and the game log will indicate that you Flipped the Board
Just so you know i was so upset when i seen this, totally got me. Great job CC. What was the joke last year?

I like it - excellent gag

Of course it would have been more believable had they spelled "troop" correctly

Y'know what bothers me the most? I spent 35 minutes walking to work mentally drafting the forum post about how I'd foe anyone who flipped the board and how this was an awful thing etc etc. By the time I sat down in front of the computer the whole "oh wait, it's April 1st" thing clicked in. So y'know what I hate? Falling hook, line and sinker for an April Fools joke!!!
Well played CC, well played...

LOL.... I was sooo tempted to click on the Flip the Board link, but didn't. I had no idea of what it was and asked the player I was playing against. He didn't get back to me and then I decided to check out this forum. Good thing I did! LOL.

If it is not,I'm out of here.
If it has anything to do with last 10-days very, very, very bad dice I'm also out of here.

I would love to, but at least half the people on it probably only did it to see what appeared!! A list of those who actually put in real account details would be perfect!

OK, I fell for it.
But if this thing is still going tomorrow, I'm gonna rage.

I fell for it too. Even after seeing it and dismissing it as ridiculous and expensive, I was clicking around wondering what CC would be doing for April Fools. It worked because it was subtle and appeared on March 31 in my timezone.

Is there a link to this announcement? I'm not seeing it outside of this thread.

Yeah, i just saw it and was afraid to click. I didn't want to ruin one of my games. But then after reading about it I thought that whoever could be so invested in a game as to pay full membership fee to reset the game deserved to generously donate CC $25. Then it occurred to me later upon not seeing any announcements that there was a new feature that it was an April Fools.
Nice and subtle, a very good joke.

ALERT* from associated press:
Quebec - Conquerclub founder and web administrator Brandon Lack claims that revenues have increased four-fold after the website implemented it's new "Flip the board" feature. Lack states; "our margins are higher, and while our moderators are dealing with a few more complaints, the community, in general, couldn't be happier," he continues, "we've all had times when flipping out or tossing the game board was, seemingly, our only option left. Our users now have the ability to pay to have digital tantrums." Conquerclub.com, an internet gaming website theat provides users with an opportunity to play diced-based war simulations, has seen its ledgers explode. Site moderator, and Shawshank Redemption protagonist, AndyDufresne, stated, "In one game alone, three players have alternatingly continued to flip their game board a total of 345 times to gain advantage." This reporter has now heard that these same three players, Aalmeida17, army of nobunaga, and Dwayne have flipped the board over 600 times resulting in revenues of over U$15,000 for the website.
