I like the new tracks, the other ones appeared too modern(except i've neve been and don't know how modernised it really is). You could colour the long curvy bit (ie. the metal bit) to distinguish them and leave the perpendicualr wooden things brown.

gotta say im enjoyinh this map so far , good job natty. but it may be more enjoyable if you took the rails out completley seeinh as thers mad territory in the map. also it kind of ruins the beauty of the map with all those railways everywhere. just sayin, somtimes simpler can be better to

Thanks, however this map will be waiting quite a while before it enters production... due to the 2 map limit of Foundry, there's 3 other maps that needs to be finished before this one.

still think you should lose the railways whenever the time comes to finish this map . its great , you dont need the rails crowding and ruining the niceness. if it was a specic 'rail' map then sure , but you see wat im getting at here. i know you worked hard on em but truly i think its better without dude.

Hmm, I had forgotten this project totally. Is there any support for this map, ie. are there any people who would really like to see this map go through? I could try to fit this in my schedule somewhere if so...

Although, the biggest obstacle here would be that I know next to nothing about Albania...

To be honest, I don't care for it. Mainly because I haven't a desire in my bones to conquer Albania and also know nothing about it.

first thing you need to do is get rid of those rail lines or whatever they are. They ruin this map.

You mean in terms of gameplay, or visually?

in both terms, they are totally awful.Without that is a very good map...

Well I've still yet to decide if I want to develop this map at all...

This is spot on.

As for the visual look of the map, I made this draft ages ago, my graphical skills have - if I say so myself - improved since then so I would probably redo the whole thing from scratch...

As for the gameplay... what exactly bothers about the rail lines? They seem to work well enough on chicago and such. Also this isn't very well indicated on the map but they would be separate territories from the land territories they are on.

Take note Chicago and NYC are decent maps, but many do not play them for that sole reason. You have a nice standard map going, keep it that way. Nobody wants cluttered up maps. They are not needed for this map and look way off base. They work for NYC and Chicago but not this map. They are just a bad idea all around.

Yes....but it's totally different....I see in this map totally unnecessary, just imagine it without them...with all the borders territories and so on...it looks very good

Ok ok... I get the hint... If I ever decide to continue development of this map I'll scrap the railways ;)

I know you have other maps you're working on but I thought I'd throw out a few suggestions:

I don't like the map being so shiny. I like the version you did before this last one. But I do like the gray background in this version much better then the previous version's background.

I don't mind the rails but I think it is better without them.

I thought the +2 for every county is a funny idea. What about doing something like +1 for every county with 2 territories, +2 for every county with 3 territories, +3 for 4 territories, +4 for 5 territories. You would have to tweak the countries borders around to make the bonus' legit but that would be different and fun twist on a map.

Definately get rid of the rail lines.
Also: where did you download paint.net?
I tried downloading it from their website but it didn't work.

Hi,

The Vlore territories look like pieces of just-butchered meat to me :o
