I never wanted to make a big deal out of it, but I couldn’t either, leave it all as it was, like nothing ever happened. I have a fairly good sense of justice and dignity and I’m used to be treated accordingly.

I'm very glad to hear of your change of heart. I just noticed this topic and your first post was upsetting, as I agree with the many others here who admire your work. I was reading through in preparation to add my plea when I came to the (relatively) happy ending. It's good to know I can look forward to more maps in the crisp style of the Third Crusade and Napoleonic Europe.

Kab,
I am very glad you decided to return. I can only wish that, after this incident, we all can put this behind us and work together to improve this site. I know I have been very harsh towards some people and I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. However, this has shown that we do have a number of underlying problems which need to be worked on in order to make CC a more creative, more open, more fun place to be. Let us put arguments and name-calling aside and let us all work together constructively to improve this community. I do believe it is worth doing so. Following Kab's example, I have decided to stay and give it a try.

Glad to see you are back. You've got a bright future in cartography and the Foundry I think.
Apologies, once again.

I think the phrase is "W00t".
Welcome back Mr. KB Nellas.

Cheers, and glad to hear it. Your third crusade map is brilliant and Dawn of Ages looks like it will be too.

Why did you feel it required to mention this?
Why add this as some kind of child slap as if he needed to be told? He was angry, he was, no doubt, frustrated at the false accusation and reacted...hmmm...now how is it???...oh yes...as a human....to err is human as you all seem quick to point out.
Quite frankly I don't blame Kabenella. From what I read it would be something of a shame if he kept to his present decision yet you choose to exacerbate the situation.
Once again your arrogance and stupidity show through like a blot on the landscape.
My apologies for the confusion Fruitcake, but I was not talking about Kabanellas in that portion of the post at all. Other users who were upset about the mistake were flaming the Hunters for trying to do their job, and I don't think that's right. Those posts have all seemed to calm down, the account has been rightfully restored and Kabanellas has returned so it seems like in the end everything was fixed

I have got to tell ya, I myself have been feeling a bit dejected as of late. I was starting to feel the way Rask was.
The excitement that I felt each day as I logged on to CC was waning. I was thinking of throwing in the towel myself.
But this great news has brightened my day, and coupled with a very comforting pm from a mod that I respect, I feel that maybe it is possible to change direction after all. and get back to that enjoyment of exploring the world of map making.
I look forward to working on DOA II with you Kab. and will do my best to learn from you. As evidenced from all the support that I have witnessed in this thread, I am very fortunate to have you as a partner.

LOL Jiminski... I'm sure that unlike with Kab, no one would have noticed if I had never logged in to CC again; still, thanks so very much for the tongue-in-cheek comment...

Without trying to cause a stir within the 'brain-storming-camp' behind the creativity and imagination of the map - but was there a decisive leader amongst your group that can actually claim sole "bragging rights" for the amazing creative and imaginative ideas of this map ...cuz aside from the A M A Z I N G graphics/ artwork ... for me it was the creative aspect that really dropped my jaw ... lol ... Because someone knew a significant amount about the 3rd Crusades, to have masterfully created the supplementary bonus of Damascus to reflect the large Pro-shite Muslims in Saladins Domain joining forces with the smaller Pro-Sunni Muslims in Damascus .... and to have created the Strongholds in their relatively exact spots was very NICE
But if all of you contributed ... then really ... as a team ... just say: "we all did" lol ... great job guys !
I really hope you guys will contribute to a Making Maps of the other Crusades ... maybe even create one for the First Crusade since that respective map creator appears to be to busy to commit to a very nice project he was starting to do ... I started work on a Second Crusade map, with a Parchment Map looking alot like the inset of Kab's map but of course more 'blown up' to micromanage the different and more detailed events that were occurring in the second crusade visa vie the 4 Crusader States ... I would love to see you guys take over all maps dealing with the 1st, 2nd and possible a 4th Crusade ... each
different from the other.
Another idea that I have been fooling around with is one of my favorite stories involving King Arthur and his Samarian Knights ... oh well ... keep up the great work guys
