The SoC Training Academy and its Training Grounds provide basic training for new and old members looking to enhance their game strategy. "Train a Cook today, lose to a Sergeant tomorrow"

Happy New Year everyone @ Soc
We've tossed this idea around a few times in the past, Kiwi...It's something we are interested in, but because I do everything manually, I would have to keep "league scores" and points on my own. I don't have the physical time to devote that much attention to something that complex. CC won't give me TD privileges to set up automatic tournaments or to set up a league.
dhall .. do you mind holding that challenge until early in the new year? I would like a break for a couple of weeks
Thanks
Ready yet?
I still have my son at home for his Christmas break from school and going to Quebec City for the weekend ... but lets get this going ...
I had not realised that the WaM event was finally getting started and all the games have to be started no later than the 7th so have also started a bunch of those in the past couple of days

I pulled through narrowly this by a score of (what will be) 2-1. I won 2 games. The 3rd one isn't finished, but it will go to Streak.
Got it recorded for you...

That one's easy! You cannot challenge someone again without playing another player first. In other words, play once only. No rechallenge. Well... not until after you challenge another. I live to serve.

MGsteve almost has it. Missing a detail or two. Maybe we should read the rules again, But since I'm too lazy for that atm, here's my best guess.
Player A challenges Player B. Player B wins. Player A cannot challenge Player B until A has completed challenging someone else. If Player A beats Player B, B can rechallenge immediately if he desires and is available.

I can challenge 2wice but not thrice ... right ?
I accepted your games but will wait for Chuck to respond before sending mine.
Sorry, Gangus...the match is invalid. You have to challenge another player before you can challenge tamaynet again since you challenged him last and lost. Rule #12

Yes. Player A cannot rechallenge without challenging another first, just as I said. If A beats B, then it's B challenging A, not a rechallenge, so... there is no rechallenge. A challenged B, then B made a new challenge, not a rechallenge. Just as I said. Oh, the problems of such a complex language and the many different ways of interpretation.
Anywho, I've beaten [player]Russde[/player], which puts me at #6. I noticed someone just called for dibs so I guess I'll wait til it's open to challenge again. But if I'm wrong (It could happen!) and the current chart is right, no dibs, then I'd like to call dibs now.
