Way to go! I am holding position as the lowest scoring qualifier - can I hold on to the prestigious 64th seeding?

Thanks for your excellent, timely, and diligent score updating. Would it be possible to include a link to the scoreboard in your update posts? Perhaps to the appropriate standings grid (Round 1, at this time).
Thanks again.

I'll look into it, I know how much of a strain it must be to click to the first post and click again on your group number.

Hmm, I've been looking over the groups and i see a lot of familiar faces in the lead.
Looks like us Map Blaster veterans have an edge.
I can't wait till we meet again in battle.
Pretty random post, yes, but i wanted to thank you guys for organizing this, it is quite certainly my favorite tournament ever, and I've played a few tournies.

Have to admit that playing against experienced vets like Lisbon is a good challenge, but consider me one rookie who has no intention of rolling over.
And Brandon, can you explain how group 4 is being awarded, it seems a little confusing with some games, the 4 point not being awarded, some the 3 point, and some the 1. Were some games partially played by crossboard before he deadbeated and players were eliminated before him? Curious what your using in case of deadbeats in future rounds.
(Group 8 it also varies, with only three games, 5, 17 and 27 having a 1 point position)

It depends what happened in the game, a player recieves the points for their finish. Deadbeats may actually get a point if some other player gets eliminated before the deadbeat gets kicked. Also some players may get 0 points if they did not take spoils during the game as in one instance where a player finished second last never took a card and recieved 0 points instead of 7. Games where we have fill ins such as group 3, no points are awarded but everyone else still gets the points for their position in the finsh.
Hope this helps.

As a rookie, I am not flying up the charts all that fast; I'm just hoping my "stay off the bottom" strategy pans out for me!

There are still possible Wild Card spots that will be available. I will won't make any games until all qualifying games are done then I will make however many bonus games I need. They will be speed games and I will try and post them during a good time where everybody who wants to can join

Game 11 has finished with 2 players tied for 4th place on 143 points after a nailbiter of a final game. Can both players progress to round 1 ?

Kind of an off topic question, but what is the maximum number of games you can have active at once? Didn't realize that next round was 80 games and I want to make sure I have enough open slots going into it (Don't want to join 60 of the 80 games to find out I am at my limit; I don't want to be 'that guy.') Haven't been able to find the magic number on the forums or FAQ.
