Sounds good... Oddly being the highest ranked team score wise made us a huge target in the 6 and 8 man games. I would like to think majors + all knew how to play those.. but ugh .. nvm

Gloriousl and Artur1 just won this game 4028531. I think it 4+ points to us? It does put us up before the four last team and we should not be left out from round 4??? I think our total score should be atleast 9 points. Or have I made a mistake?

Btw thanks for doing these flawless tournaments but, I think the old setings where better though. The 4 player dubbles.

Unfortunately, i have to remove players from the tournament before all the previous games are finished.

Otherwise every new round would take 3 weeks to start.

Also I will be starting the new, 4 players doubles League in a few days. You are welcome to join it too.

Next round will start on Tuesday, Feb 17.

I am very surprised and disappointed to hear that we are getting eliminated while having more points than other teams that are allowed to advance to the next round. I can understand the practical point but its hard when you fight to stay in the tournament and rightly should stay based on your performance.

We won our last game in round 8 which is a common round for an esc game to finish. Had it been a longer game I would have understood your decision, but any game should be given at least 10 rounds to finish, especially in a prestigious tournament as this one.

I can see a scenario in which teams later on in the tournament use stalling tactics to ensure that rivals wont win their games in time to meet deadlines. Then it is no longer best team wins, which would be sad.

You didn't qualify when the round 4 started. That is why you were removed.

Regardless, another 4 teams will be removed on Tuesday.

Every new round 4 teams are removed.

I am sorry to hear that you have not changed your mind Andrew. I really dont think you are making a correct call about this but, it is your tournament. Good luck to the remaining teams and thanks you all and thanks Andrew for working so hard so that the rest of us can have a good time.

I am going to give one or two days before starting the next round.

Alot of games are not finished yet.

I can see it too. Unfortunately it was not the best format for my tournaments, which i have to regret (I can hear you all chuckling).

For the future tournaments i will not use 3/4 teams games.

no 3/4 games???? ! it's a pitty ! they are so so exciting!!!!

I might create a separate tournament for them. But the current format does not work with them very well.
