I've remade 11 games from the quads/triples first round that had either been messed up or players didn't join on time. Since I was slow in getting some of the PMs out, I've given the offending players a second chance. I'll hopefully get some more games out this weekend.

It would really help if teams could find out who is disappearing from their teams before I try to get them into games. Things would move much faster if that were the case.

Would it be easier for you if you just funneled everything through the leader of each team and made it their responsibility?

To be honest, standings are really low on my priority list until medals start being earned (which will be relatively soon). I'll try to get semi-finalists announced in here.

My priority is still on getting games made and sent.

I have left the Regulators as there was a discrepency with the leadership. They have some great players there and I feel it would be unfortunate if they were to miss thier chance at gaining a gold or two so I was hoping someone would contact one of thier remaining players and maybe allow them to add a player to substitute for my absense. I do appologize for any inconveniance this may have caused and wish you all well for the remainder of the tournement.

The previous post does not surprise me. In the CC Olympics 2008 - Field Hockey Quarterfinals game number Game 3406436, the player for the Regulators (something of a joke of a name it would seem) deadbeated, one can only imagine it was because they were being beaten soundly.

The same player, ktess920, managed to take turns in other games so could have taken his turn, but must have decided that doing the right thing by his clan was not important enough....perhaps things are afoot in the Skiperators, either that, or this is what to expect from their ilk.
